Post subject: I made one at the weekend and they are really quick, although my other half couldnt quite see the point of them!
I found a tutorial online which explained it (search for taggie blanket tutorial I think it was) really well, but basically I cut out two 13inch squares of fabric, one fleece and one polycotton, 20 pieces of ribbon in varying lengths from 3 to 5 inches I think. Fold the ribbons in half and pin to the edges of one piece of fabric, right side up, with the raw edges at the edge and the fold towards the middle of the fabric. Place the second piece of fabric, right side down, on top, pin and stitch all the way around, leaving a 2 inch hole on one side to turn through. Trim the corners off and then turn right side out. Top stitch all the way round close to the end which will close the gap you left, just make sure you tuck the raw edges in before first. _________________ ![]()
