I'm going on a seaside holiday and I've got a question that has been bothering me.Does swimming in cold seawater affect lactation?

I have never heard of cold water having any impact on milk supply (I could imagine it could temporarily lessen supply while you're actually IN the water, just because blood flows away from your extremities and possibly, your breasts, but I'm not even sure about that; at any rate, it should come right back after you warm up). Obviously, a bad case of hypothermia would be bad for your supply, but other than that, you should be good to go!

I'm pretty sure none of this is going to have much impact on milk supply.
