Post subject: Hi Ladies oh wow so many new ladies too, i wish you all so much luck on this journey this forum was my little haven.
Hi Clare sorry went quiet i forgot forum link durrhh baby brain and just been trying to enjoy pregnancy etc and get our head around the abnormal scans... my heads in a much better place. we had 7 week scan and saw tissue mass, and at 8 week scan it was still there but the heartbeat was so strong... was really worried and hadnt been able to enjoy being pregnant, but am now in the mindset that what will be will be, i cant control any of this. Midwife came on weekend which made things feel so real. she said that the pregnancy will continue no matter what the mass is, its kind of part of the pregnancy and hopefully by 12 wk scan be smaller. had my anti natal bloods done today and still waiting for 12 wk scan date. am 10 weeks tomz so should be very ,very soon, have been trying to find work starting early feb once we know all ok until end of June. after 5 months of not working i am so ready to do something..... although i love not having to get up for work, my powerwalks etc, am missing my own money and there are some days i feel really down and fed up.... Clare i was well excited when i saw that you are starting your next FET yipeeeee i am gonna have to keep a close eye on your updates, am very excited for you, i can see you are feeling neither neg or positive which is understandable, so what date do u start, are you doing meds with this one? and WELL DONE on your weight loss you have so put your mind to it and having great results. FC - u sound like u have been busy with stuff, are you ok though do u know when you are going to do next FET? hope you baby and hubby are well though. Alowicious you poor thing with your long cycle, i really feel for you on that front. Fayelouise I took metaformin not during ivf but to help me ovulate, i hated it.. i had the runs, and i was sick a lot on it....i have never heard of taking it to reduce OHSS. I was at risk of this i had lots of eggs but drank a heap of water which helped and lots of protein. Tasha hi hun arrrhhh exciting u had scan, but awful u have been so sick. i dont know how i have escaped it, havent had an ounce of sickness and no sore boobs. if i hadnt seen baby i wldnt know i was having one!!! when is your 12 week scan? xxxxx Posted: Tue Jan 15, 2013 10:06 pm
Post subject: Hey Tinystar, do you exercise when going through the IVF? I've always been abut scared to. I'm a bit of a gym freak myself. Although my membership is a lot more expensive than £13 and its the council gym, not private members. Anyway, previous IVF doc said it would be a bit like a salt shaker while the eggs were growing to keep up the gym so to take it easy....
Anyone else any advice on exercise during a cycle? Or dietary advice for that matter? I know high protein is supposed to help but I tried that last time & we had a failed cycle with no fertilised eggs LCx Posted: Tue Jan 15, 2013 10:52 pm
Post subject: Hi ladies, I hope everyone is well? Hello to all the new ladies and good luck on your journey's.
Nicky Im glad your doing well! Im 8wks 4 days now not as sick as I was I just constantly feel sick now which is better than being sick I guess lol, I had a little spotting on saturday and totally freaked out so went back to the epu yesterday for another scan. All was well last time the baby was just a grey blob this time it had a head arm an leg buds so amazing how quickly it all changes, but everything was fine thank god! I have my booking in appointment monday I cant wait. Im just gutted that oh has now moved to a different town as he is in a new regiment and is gonna be soo busy he is gonna miss out on so much of the pregnancy and being alone in the evenings sucks! Ill probably be on here alot more so im not as lonely lol xx Posted: Tue Jan 15, 2013 11:28 pm

I'm just carrying on as normal until the embryo is transferred into me.xxxx Posted: Wed Jan 16, 2013 7:37 am
Post subject: Have our first appointment tomorrow Nikki, got the pipelle to look forward to as well. I think (Im just guessing here) that injections will start Friday, we decided to go with a medicated cycle after I emailed the clinic and they sent us the clinical results of natural vs medicated. There was a significant difference in success with the medicated.
Cant believe youre almost 12 weeks already the time is flying! Cherubs I continued with my zumba classes throughout the ivf treatment the only time I stopped was once I started getting to bloated and uncomfortable near the end of stimming other wise I would have carried on until transfer. _________________ Ttc since December 2007!
