Considering the money we have sent their way Nikki it really isnt good enough is it. As I understand it you pay for an ultrasound at the clinic dont you? x

Hi ladies!

Nicky- wow, great news! You must have such mixed emotions as of course you will be hugely relieved its nothing but then so angry that you wasted all that time worrying over nothing when you could have been enjoying your pregnancy. Are you going to complain to the clinic?

Claire- It must be so awful dealing with your friend being pregnant when she behaves like that. I find it difficult enough with my friend being pregnant and they are a normal family who definitely do deserve and appreciate it. Hope you can sort things out with your clinic and can get on with concentrating on your next fet. When do you think your et should be? If my cycle goes to plan my et should be around 20th Feb.

Hi tinystar, hope your scan goes well.

Hi LC, How exciting to get your dates, must seem all very real now! Fingers crossed for that Christmas baby

Allowicious- how are you?

Hi to Lou, mrs S, Faye, anyone else I've missed, its a busy board now!

AFM, Im doing ok, keeping getting pangs of nerves about this being our last ever try. Sometimes I feel like postponing for a while as while the embryos are still there there is still hope, not sure I want that gone! Other times Im very positive about it all. I think Im ready to cope with whatever way it goes now, just want to get on with it before I over think things any more!!

Fc our embryo transfer will be some where around the 3rd week of feb I think, so sounds like we are going to be at a similiar place Very Happy I'll be honest Im not feeling positive for our 3rd go, I just feel like its something we should do because we have them. x

HI FC really nice to hear from you. Yes we are so relieved but i am annoyed that we wasted 7 weeks of worry.... my friends who is a nurse said that at 7 weeks the placenta is just growing so maybe she didnt know it was placenta but...... the amount of money we paid for treatment and £150 for each scan, considering we had to go back at week 8 for another so £300 in total. i dont think it would all have been necesary if she was more experienced...
the words she used caused us so much anxiety, the fact she called it a Mass is horrendous. I dont know how to play it really ,Dave is not keen to pursue anything but i might send email.

are you doing a natural FET or medicated FET Hun? stay positive i know its hard but you have had success before and with some time off work this could be your time again. I truly hope and pray it is be so lovely.
nice that you and Clare are doing it around same time, would love to see BFP for both of you.

Just trying to find a job today sooo boring.... feeling so lazy. glad the snow has cleared.
anyone heard from Tasha at all?

Hi Faye, it does go so quick doesnt it.... once you start treatment and your on a roll. wishing u lots of luck for EC how are you finding the treatment so far?

Hi to all the new ladies on their journey wishing u lots of luck with your treatment xxx

Thanks Nicky, Im doing another natural fet as that is what worked before. I just feel that my body doesnt need the drugs as our only problem concieving is my husbands low count, so I want it to be as natural and 'normal' as possible.

Maybe just send an email to the clinic, even if its just to say that you really dont want anyone else to suffer from the stress you had. Also a refund of the scan money might be in order. There is no point getting too stressed about it as you have to concentrate on the pregnancy now, but they need to know that that shouldnt be happening!

Hi Kerry, good luck for your appointment!

Faye Louise- that has gone quick, wont be long at all now, so 3 of us might be in the 2ww together!

Claire, that is kind of how I felt when my FET worked, I really didnt think it would and almost just wanted to get the embryos used up so I could get back on to a full icsi cycle. Really hope this is it for you! I'm trying to see past this fet too, Im making plans for ttc naturally and buying oh all the vitamins again, looking into all the things that help with a low count, and I'm focussing on seeing the positives of life with only one child and al the things we'll be able to do that we wouldnt if we had a bigger family. Hoping these distraction tactics work!

Omg Nikki you had to pay for both scans :O Youd think youd at least get a follow up scan for free. Its scandelous youve paid £300 for 2 scans!! I would complain at the end of the day the amount of years she has probably been in that job and how many scans that shes probably done she should have known better. I would email the clinic any way to air that you arent happy.
Do you know what if we do end up achieving a pregnancy Im not going to them for a scan, Ill ask them to forward my notes to the doctors and ill go for a private scan else where I know you can get them for £60-70. You would think considering how much we spend there the pregnancy scan would be included as kind of a conclusion.

Fc youve hit the nail on the head 100% with how we both feel at the moment. It really is like we have them and we just want to get them used up and kind of draw a line under it. We have decided once theyre all gone Im going to ask the doctor if I can have a hsg to check my tube we'd like to know one way or another if its still open. x

Hi Fayelouise. Im doing a fet on a natural cycle, so not actually doing anything at the moment! I just have to wait til my next af, then do home ovulation tests til I get my surge, then its a scan and et! Very easy! Hope you get to grips with the injections soon!

Hi Tash, sorry to hear about the migranes, hope your managing to get lots of rest. Glad the sickness has cleared up for you now.

Claire, when I had my first transfer after the icsi, I was convinced it would work and got BFN. Second time with the fet like I said I just assumed it wouldnt work and had even booked myself on an open university degree course thinking if Im not going to be a mummy I need to get a career! Was very pleased to have to cancel due to BFP! With my recent fet I was convinced it would work again cos the last one did. So going into this go I am fully preparing myself for bfn and am under no delusions whatsoever, really hoping this is a good sign! Maybe this will be the case for you too, maybe you should book the doctors appointment to find out about having the hsg for just after the 2ww. Hopefully you'll have to cancel!
