Thank you so much gillym. The day of my d&c I woke up at 2:30 and began miscarrying naturally so I paged my dr and he told me to get to the hospital and he would do the d&c once I arrived. I have been a wreck googling periods after miscarriage there are sites just for periods after a d&c and periods after a natural miscarriage and I wasn't sure which one to go by. I know it hurts my DH to see me sad and upset. I honestly think I have it so much easier than he does. He is a believer that men must be emotional strong and silent about their emotions. I can call up my best friends and cry my eyes out while he rarely talks about anything. Thanks again gillym. I wish you the best!

not all 20 will make it to blastocyst stage. from what I read and at one of the talks from the fertility show they said that roughly one third should make it to that stage and I think they are only allowed to freeze them if they are over a certain grade. it should still leave you with plenty that you will not need as the first time will work for you Hun. good luck for Wednesday .

Great numbers Kaz, when we did our cycle they collected 29 eggs, 23 were injected and 18 fertilised. Still had 18 at day 3, our clinic took them to blastocyst. On day 5 we transferred one blast and had 11 blastocysts to freeze. Its quite reassuring when you have a good number to freeze as its a nice back up. x
