Anyone else doing IVF/FET/IUI??

Sorry to hear about your experience Claire, defo complain! It's not acceptable! Hi again LoubyLou, I haven't been told my protocol yet. Find out tomorrow. I am a wee bit nervous. Just have this awful feeling they are not going to treat us for some reason or another. Fingers crossed I'm worrying over nothing. Will let you all know after the appointment tomorrow. Post subject: How you getting on tiny? Any estimated date for your transfer?
LC - I can understand you worrying as you have taken a bit of time out after your last go and it's all the nerves etc that people get anyway, uncertainty, but mixed with anticipation too, and is it your NHS go this time so a new clinic too? Post subject: Morning ladies, still waiting to hear from the clinic about who to send our email of complaint to and what email address.
One of my worst nightmares is happening at the moment, one of my best friends is pregnant :/ in normal circumstances Id be pleased for her obviously but she's ended up pregnant from a guy she was just having drunken sex with she fell pregnant pretty much straight after meeting him  It gets worse though she has had an abortion booked for weeks (her 4th!!) but she changed her mind and is now keeping it. She smokes cigarettes and weed and has no intention of stopping, the list is endless as to things that arent right with the situation. I just dont get why it happens for someone like that and not for people like us who want it so much and do everything right. Post subject: It is very unfair isnt it.... i seen a lady at the hospital the other day, very heavily pregnant, puffing away on a fag outside, tbh she looked like she smoked 40 a day and didnt give a ****. Its so annoying

Post subject: Oh nutty I totally get that! it took me months to come to terms with my best friend being pregnant. I don't wish to mean but in comparison to me & my hubby They are both overweight, do no exercise, drink like a fish, but got pregnant first month of trying. We are both healthy, eat the right things, go to the gym etc & we can't get pregnant for love or money! There is no rhyme or reason for it. You can't rationalise it. You save to just deal with your own situation positively & hope for the best outcome! Good luck with the complaint as well.
We have been given our dates & treatment protocol. We start down reg on my next day 21 with prostap & then up reg with gonal f. Different to our previous cycles with menapur but maybe that's a good thing. Here's hoping for a Christmas baby! We are on 4th go, so I'm hoping 4th time lucky! LoubyLou, this is my NHS turn, 2.5 years in the waiting! Funny thing is that they do the procedure at the nearest private hosp. Hope everyone else is good LCx  Posted: Mon Jan 21, 2013 8:47 pm

Claire - what an awful situation to deal with you will just have to focus on you and hopefully you will be pregnant too very soon and then hopefully it won't seem as bad. It's so unfair isn't it and makes no sense when others can get preg and do the wrong things when all those who want a baby more than anything do everything right and nothing happens.

Post subject: hi clare hi ladies... well we have just had 7 weeks of worrying for nothing..i cant praise the staff at southend enough.there is nothing in the sac with baby its the bloody placenta.its how the ivf clinic took picture..baby was wriggling around today like nutter.think his/her arms were at his/her ears.prob sick of listening to me.heartbeat and size all perfect.am 11 weeks tmrw....roll on 12 wk scan nxt week.i feel like i need a good old cry....happy mummy and daddy..
i do.feel.annoyed.with clinic.clare if we use.clinic again for fet i will.refuse.to use debbie....7 weeks of.pointless worry. i.cant.believe clinic havent repiled to u.will u chase up . so sorry about your friend.what a.selfish person she is that baby does.not have a good start.just.know your time will come and u.will be a.wonderful mum. how u doing on treatment hun? xx Posted: Tue Jan 22, 2013 6:02 pm

I have started spotting today, so hopefully will be af and i can ring clinic and go for scan/ baseline bloods and start the next month :)2nd time round hopefully will get dosages right etc

 I cant believe they cocked up and caused you that worry for nothing, that seems such simple error to not realise its the placenta  Its really starting to put me off the h&e. Had an email back from the complaints officer at the clinic saying all our concerns will be looked into and a full response will be written asap. No doubt we will get fobbed off though I dont see how you can forget something so simple as labelling the batch of embryos before freezing giving the importance of it .
Louise I was wondering who that was lol. As for my friend she announced it to fb today :/ .... shes 5 weeks pregnant. Post subject: without meaning to sound rude... but shes announced at 5 weeks on fb?? i know its upto the individual but cant help think thats quite immature??
that means they'll be stauses sooner than most about the pregnancy as the whole world will know.... i think thats quite hard to deal with too

Post subject: Its her all over Louise, shes done this before at 4-5 weeks and then had a miscarriage. Shes a drama queen and she loves attention. WHat pi**es me off more than anything is the guy she has been sh*gging has had a lot of influence into her keeping it promising he will do everything for he etc etc (he's a pot head ) and so has her daughter by walking round with a doll saying how cute it will be to have a baby etc.. which I think is totally wrong.

i feel put off too my clinic i know we had success but these few [*CENSORED*] ups are [*@!#%*]....
