Thawed 4 last time and 3 survived, if they take the 4 out then we should be okay its if they take the 3 out then I'm not sure we will get 2 as they gave us a 50% survival rate from the thaw.

I'll keep everything crossed for you!

Faye-it is so amazing, I still look at my little boy now and think what a miracle he is that he was frozen for 5 months and now he's running around! he's technically the same age as these 2 we had put back yesterday and if they had happened not to pick him out 2 years ago he would still be the same child just born at a different time! Its mind blowing!

Omg that is crazy!! I love hearing and reading things about frozen embryos, it really is amazing, obviously the whole ivf/icsi thing is, but being able to freeze and thaw a living cell is mind blowing!! Fingers crossed they all make it x

Its definately mind blowing, the more you think about it the more amazing it is how you can freeze something that has the potential to become a life and then thaw it and it continues to grow! I'm not sure how long they take to thaw Faye ,I believe they will be taken out tonight and checked first thing in the morning.

Thought I would re-post this for all of us currently in the 2ww!

**this is what happens in a 3dt :

1dpt ..embryo is growing and developing
2dpt... Embryo is now a blastocyst
3dpt....Blastocyst hatches out of shell on this day
4dpt.. Blastocyst attaches to a site on the uterine lining
5dpt.. Implantation begins,as the blastocyst begins to bury in the lining
6dpt.. Implantation process continues and morula buries deeper in the lining
7dpt.. Morula is completely inmplanted in the lining and has placenta cells &
fetal cells
8dpt...Placenta cells begin to secret HCG in the blood
9dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
10dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
11dpt...HCG levels are now high enough to be immediately detected on
HPT
