Ok so i really love the name Autumn for a girl and as i already have a Brooke kind of think the names go together. However my husband thinks (A) its not a real name and (B) as the baby wasnt conceived nor will be born in Autumn it just plain strange. Whats everyones thoughts on it. I kind of get the timeing thing but dont really like any other girls names Sad

aww it is a real name lol, Harry goes to nursery with a girl called Autumn and thats just her name iv never even wondered if she was born or conceived in Autumn? I dont think it matters! If you love the name then not much else will compare will it Laughing

With some names I'd sort of agree with him on the its not a real name front (we know someone with a daughter called meadow , and my ex has a daughter called ocean Question

)and there's a few at my sons school that frankly sound like they were made up from a bad scabble hand Laughing

but I've never thought of Autumn in that way Question

and if she was due in Autumn then it would be a bit obvious wouldn't it Question

if you like then go for it i say Very Happy

i knew a girl called april and she wasnt born in april, i like that name, there a a lot of 'not real' names around now... my lb goes to nursery with a girl called Dymond.

Yea I know a June and April....never asked when they were born ha. I think if you like it go for it. It is a really pretty name x
