scared of potty/toilet

Post subject: scared of potty/toilet my son who is 3 next month has been potty trained in the day for a while now and he used to do wee's and poo's on the potty/toilet but for the last month he has been refusing to do poo's he waits till his night time nappy goes on to go! today he told us he's scared of the potty and i dont know whats happened to make him now feel this way, any advice? im also worried as hes obviously holding it in till he has nappy on and this cant be good for him

My son is scared too. Why don't you take him shopping and let him pick out his own potty, then get him to decorate it with stickers... that might help. Or maybe he had a pain once and that has made him scared. My son was a little constipated and that stopped him using the potty altogether and I had to go back to square one after he'd been trained for 3 weeks! _________________
