When did you book the reception from?
We've found a venue, but have no idea what time to rent it out from.

We're getting married at 1pm, so should finish by 2pm. I said how about renting it from 2pm and asking a few friends to help our parents run in there and decorate it (we know what we want and it's nothing overly fancy or difficult to set up). If we rent it before we marry, say 11am just to set up, we'd be paying up to £90 for an empty hall.

But someone said normally you marry then go straight to the reception. Would it be okay to have that break? I know it's our wedding and we can do what we like, but wanted to hear what you all think!
