Post subject: Bathing 3 year old when newborn is crying Hi
My 3 week old has a funny few hours between 6.30pm and 9 when all she wants is to be held. However this is right at the time I bath and put my 3 and half year old to bed. My husband gets home too late to help. Any tips how I can soothe my baby and still bath and put my eldest to bed? Thanks!! Posted: Mon Oct 22, 2012 8:06 pm
Post subject: I have no experiance of having to deal with two at a time but George was also very unsettled every evening.
Only ideas I have is to have the Baby in a sling whilst bathing older child or have Baby in bouncer in the bathroom and just be quick. _________________    Posted: Sat Oct 27, 2012 5:47 pm
Post subject: I have exactly the same problem, and I do what the above poster suggested, put her in the bouncy chair or the sling if she's really fussy, and be as quick as possible! She's starting to cry less evenings now, but it's still a big challenge. Good luck!
