Post subject: MAD!!!!!!!! hi all,
i need to let of steam, i hate people overpowering me as a parent when i say no to something they do it anyway, my fella just tells me to calm dwn and he will sort it, but his parents dont say nothing infront of him, like today i fed my daughter, and my fella dad gave my son a cake wen i sed no it will spoil his tea but he just done it anyway, i sed out loud dont overpower me i am bradley and macy mom not u, but they dont listen to me, it aint fair we have to live under same roof as them, what can i do, _________________

Post subject: Hmm, you have probably tried this already, but have you sat down and had a good talk with them?
My hubby is forever willing to give the kids a cookie, this or that, if they ask for it. I always tell him NO, its nearly dinner time etc... He can have one (if he still remembers!) after he has eaten his dinner etc... That way its a compromise and usually DH and DS have forgotten about it.
