For past 3 weeks my 2.5 year old has been suffering w a cough, that doesn't go away. Its not there all the time, but when she coughs it ranges from chesty to dry.

Last 3 days however she has been feverish, red cheeks and unsettled. This morning, its the worst ive seen her. Burning hot cheeks, temp 37.9/38.0 and sleepy. She will drink and eat small amounts. Im going to the docs for something else on Mon, should I try and get her seen as well? She has hypermobility syndrome, a friend of mine said she was told by a doc that that children with HMS have a lower immune system.

We've been giving her Calpol, which works for so long, then gets hot again
