factor 5 leiden

Post subject: factor 5 leiden Hi ladies
We've been to the consultants today and I've just found out I've got factor 5 leiden from one of my parents. I was just wondering if anyone has come across this affecting fertility as we have been trying for 3 years and nothing. I know it can cause miscarriages but I've not even got that far yet. I was just popping into this section and noticed your post. I too have factor 5 leiden, and the same as you it's from one side of the family. I previously had 2 miscarriages, hence me getting tested and finding out, but I am now 33 weeks pregnant, and have been injecting clexane as the result of the factor 5 (even though they are not 100% sure that it's down to the factor 5 that caused them) Has the consultant advised you on treatment? are they aware you are trying to conceive?
