Post subject: Lets have a bit of fun! Ok so I know old wives tales are all a load of rubbish but it's all a bit of fun. I was wondering how many old wives tales have been true for you? If not what we're your symptoms and what was the outcome? If it's your first what have you had so far and what's your prediction?
It's only a bit of fun 
So with Ava I had all the classic old wives tales ring true for me I had sickness until 14 weeks Put loads of weight on my bum (and everywhere else looking back )
Hair on legs etc grew a lot slower And god knows what her fhr was. She also wasn't very active The Chinese predictor said girl 
With this one: I've got sickness again (hope it goes by 14 weeks again  )
Boobs have gotten massive and muffin tops too
Hair on legs seems to have slowed down again Fhr was 155-170 at 9w5d Don't know about activity just yet Chinese predictor said girl And also I had sex 36 hours before ovulation and then 24 hours later I would say based in old wives tales I'm having a girl but in the beginning I was certain of boy.. ah well another 6 and a half months before I find out!!! _________________

Post subject: Chinese gender tells me boy but all the old wives tales point to girl (probably wishful thinking??) bad hair andskin v under my lower left eyelid.. Erm didnt follow the sickness.. My craving have all been fruit/sweets/fruit juice.. Dont know fetal hr.. Oooo and my oh has piled weight on since I found out I was pg hehe.. The chain test says 2 boys and a girl.. I findbout in 8 days

Post subject: Most the old wives tales for me are 50/50 lol the pregnancy is identical to avas. Theres only one difference that comes to mind. I'm making too much saliva this time lol
My head says I'm having a boy but I feel like I'm carrying a girl lol _________________

-Nor real sickness suffered (true to myth) -carried high and rounded -Dreamt baby ways a girl right before 20wk scan -craved savoury (meat and cheese) (true to myth) -No skin conditions and hair lovely and glossy (true to myth) -came early (some say boys tend to hang on longer) -very little heart burn suffered -Chinese predictor said boy -had to shave as much as normal Girl bump -Suffered sickness and tiredness (true to myth) -carrying high and round again -dreamt baby was a boy right before 20wk scan -Skin/hair awful (true to myth) -Craved sweets and friut (true to myth) -suffered awful heartburn -Chinese predictor said girl -hardly had to shave my legs this pregnancy -put more weight on my legs So looks a bit 50/50 _________________   Posted: Sun Dec 02, 2012 8:56 am

Craved ready salted crisps Skin was lovely Hair was lovely Bump all front Chinese predicted a girl Hair grew fast No sickness or queasy ness Boy 2 Queasy ness up until 19 weeks returning at 35 weeks Chinese predict a boy Craving sweet constantly A bit more hormonal Skin and hair lovely,although i did get loads of spots on my back early stages Bump all around legs and bum body Hair did grow slow at first but did catch up lol Suffered with heartburn with both but much more this time due to craving chocolate lol Char _________________
