It sounds silly but I've had this with Ava.. there wasn't a lot of blood but when I went for a scan there were two sacs but only one baby. They call it missing twin syndrome. You may have had 2 in there.. there wouldn't be a lot of bleeding because doctor told me the other thriving baby uses the remains of the other embryo as nutrients. Its really commonest and happens usually in the first 8 weeks before a scan has confirmed the pregnancy therefore most women just think it's an implantation bleed but that's impossible that late on. The fact it's not been too much blood is a good sign. Same thing happened ed to me like I said. I was sure Ava was gone and even though I was told I had lost one to this quite common occurrence I wasn't sad because I didn't know there was two I was just glad my baby I did know about was alive and well.
