Post subject: christmas day breakfast...
...do you have anything special? or the usual old toast / cereal. the thought of a nice tasty breakfast just popped in to my head and been sat dreaming about it for last 5 mins. I have never made an effort to do anything special for breakfast on xmas day, but think I might this year. Had to google for ideas. If you have a special breakfast, what do/will you have?

We usually get croissants and pain au chocolat. Makes a change from the usual cereal, but we do tend to get these every time someone comes to stay so not that special I guess. You've got me thinking now what else I could do, will be interested to see some ideas. My parents usually do smoked salmon with scrambled eggs and champagne. Not sure if I'm allowed smoked salmon or not. There are some tasty breakfasts in the Hairy Dieters book that we've got so might take a look at them.

At my mums we used to just have rolls and sausage lol if i was goin to do a breakfast i would likely do a big fry up tbh but as it is, it usually ends up me giving the boys their usual cereal toast and fruit and then being too busy to cook anything for me and OH lol x

We just have some really nice cereal....something we don't have everyday (everyday cereal for us is branflakes, fruit & fibre, crunchy nut cornflakes or coco pops!)
We did pancakes a couple of years but found we weren't overly hungry for dinner even though we don't est till about 2/2.30pm

When I was growing up we always used to get a Terry's chocolate orange under the tree - so we used to have that for breakfast! Laughing ... And as we got older a bucks fizz to go with it!! Shocked I'm coming home to the Uk this Christmas yay!!!!! With my 4 kids and staying with my mum. The Kids love pancakes so that's what we will probably have. X

When kids wake up they open all their presents and usually they have a bowl of their usual cereal. About 10 we go to my oh parents and have a champagne breakfast. We have smoked salmon, salad and brown bread. The kids have egg or bacon on toast.
We open presents with them, usually I'm a bit tiddly then, ha ha. Laughing
We go home and have lunch about 2 ish.
