Buying/Selling on facebook

Post subject: Buying/Selling on facebook I've started buying & selling a few bits through fb on local pages, etc. I know there isn't a 'selling' section on here & always thought it would be a great idea, so I've just set up a closed group on fb for ab ladies & friends to buy and sell your unwanted/outgrown stuff (kids or adults) or if any of you make things then come and join
 Saves on the ebay fees at least!

shame I've already sold/given away all of LOs outgrown clothes but he's now almost too big for his 3-6 month stuff aswell so will prob stick all of that on there soon it is a good idea, eBay can be a right rip off!_________________   Posted: Tue Dec 11, 2012 9:30 am
Post subject: I don't really use eBay that much now, I really like the selling pages on fb & I've bought quite a few bits through post/PayPal with no probs at all. I have so much stuff I need to sort out still & like Logan Sophie's almost out of her 3-6, altho finding it hard to part with a lot of it lol! And they're not in the clothes for long so usually still in fab condition.
And the bonus is it costs nothing to list it on fb and you can ask what you'd like for it rather than leaving it for auction, I've had some lovely stuff go for silly money before! xx _________________ After a horrible few years, life is good.

Post subject: Oh sorry ladies, it's a closed group maybe that's why? If you search for 'yummy mummies buy & sell' it should come up, it has the shooting star icon. Click to join & I'll add you. If it doesn't work let me know and I'll get on the laptop to find the right link.
Oh no that's a sin!! I'd hate for a big pile of Sophie's things to go for £3, great if you're the buyer tho! xx _________________ After a horrible few years, life is good.

Post subject: I don't think you'll be able to see it even if you search, it says it's a secret group so only members can see the group and what's in it, could you not change the settings to a closed group that people can ask to join but you have to approve them? and I know, I was gutted! lol
