Hello ladies just a bit of an update on me.

I went into hospital Monday evening due to a reduction in babies movement. I was put on a monitor baby was fine, but she could see I was getting a few contractions. The doctor then came in and decided to give me a sweep. This happened at 2200 Monday night.

Well as it goes i am still here apart from losing my plug yesterday morning nothing has happened i still keep getting contractions now and then but nothing much.

She put in my notes that i was 3-4cm dilated, but i dont think i have dilated much since then.

So i am just waiting impatiently i really hoped i would have had him by now, they say it can take up to 48 hours for the sweep to take effect and that will be 2200 tonight so really hoping something happens today.

But will keep u ladies informed Very Happy

I had wondered where you had got to! Glad you are going in the right direction, hopefully things will speed up for you soon so you won't have to wait much longer. Looking forward to hearing your progress

Aww exciting and u said u thought u might have him around the 18th good luck with it all hopefully the sweep will get things moving and u have him tonight Smile

I'm going in tomorrow to have my baby so they could still berry well have the same birthday just not the Xmas day babies we expected! X

Hi ladies,

I am still here although I am having a lot of stringy gooey substance coming out of my foof, its diffo my mucus, it had a tinge of pink in it yesterday now its just yellowish colour (stmi).

I am really hoping i have him tonight or tomaz, i am very ready now COME ON BABY lol. I do keep forgetting i am not 40 weeks yet but i think due to me having a sweep i expected something to happen quicker Shocked

Hhaha char that would be great if they did i will prob still be here at the end of the week pmsl
