Post subject: Implant sorry if it is tmi, but i have had the implant since june, i bled for 5 months straight until 2 months ago, when the doctor gave me a combined pill for 3 months, to see if it helps, i bled my normal periods, then after sleeping with my partner, my period has suddenly stopped for over a month and a half, i also feel like i have gained weight rapidly, i just hope i don't get pregnant with the implant, still 19, someone help ?

Post subject: Its very rare to get pregnant with the implant, its happened a few times to people who are close to having it replaced and I know someone who found out she was pregnant after having it but probably conceived just before it was fitted ,she only found out because she had a m/c , but its considered very safe, most women don't gain much weight in early pregnancy but I know a few people who gained a lot of weight with the implant , I didn't when I had it, but I did have almost constant bleeding so I had it removed, whereas my DD had no periods while she had hers so it could just be the effects of the implant
It seems to affect everyone differently, a pregnancy test would still work though so if you're worried I'd take one as you'd have to get the implant removed if you were and wanted to keep the baby xx
