are you bfing? If so has he latched correctly? Is he actually falling asleep inbetween actually feeding, if so try ticking his feet that normally wakes them. Its not that usually for bf to like to stay at the breast and sleep or just snuggle up.
If he's bottle feeding, maybe the teet doesn't suit him. _________________

Naia still takes an hour to get one ounce down her! apparently I was the same when I was a baby. Its so frustrating but thankfully I'm not doing the night feeds so I just get it during the day _________________

i am bottle feeding him now, i was thinking maybe i should move him to faster flowing teats coz he is falling asleep as soon as he starts to feed but then wakes straight off again for more x _________________

Yes, I'm swapping over from the newborn bottles to normal ones now to see if that helps. I would try that.

Logan would take up to an hour for a 5oz feed when he was younger, I switched him to the 3 month+ teats from around 2 months and his feeds went to around 20 mins so probably is the teat _________________

Yep an hour for me too! Which was sooo knackering cos i had two of them so i was taking two hours to feed them both, then i was getting an hours sleep (at night time) then having to get back up and do the same. Don't actually know how i did it thinking back lol x _________________

I think it must be the teats because I swapped Naia onto normal 0 months bottles and since last night shes gone from taking over an hour to get an ounce down her to guzzling two ounces in thirty minutes - this equalling a very happy mummy Try it with him and see how you go. _________________

all of mine have been slow feeders (bottle fed) taking at least an hour the quickest teats i found were closer to nature vari flow with cross teats , my youngest used to feed 2 hourly 24/7 for his first 2 months taking a hour to feed then suddenly he started going longer until by the time he was 3 months he was going 12 hours at night and 4 hours during day , was a tough couple months but hes a dream now i hope your baby will start feeding and sleeping better very soon xx _________________
