Post subject: Hi quinny yes you will get invoice in the post about a week or two before the appoint and you pay them on the they that you go, and yes make sure you take all you got with you so you don't have to do any more test. They are pretty good there. When are you going? Also I know from researches that I done that all the meds are in very good price there as they selling them as a package, they are one of the cheepers
 it also depends which protocols you will be, is two different ones, long protocol or short I had both first long and then they put me on short( much better for me) they said that for older woman the short protocol is better. Wish you luck Hun
DL yea I know about scarring and is pretty scaring  , I hope it doesn't happen thou

Hi Angel, hope yor well hun?!? Hi Faith, i'm Yvonne or Evie, don't mind either....... I ad my op over 3 years ago n unfortuneatly not ad no bfp! Although since the op i've ad 3 very different af's that av bin very painful n heavy n lastin for nearly 2weeks so not sure if they were mc!  i'm 43 so avin one shot at ivf n if it doesn't work then i'm not ttc anymore as it's bin a very emotional rollercoaster
Nat, wot things are you takin??? I'm startin wiv the DHEA agen n multi vits n dh is on multi vits n pycnogenol (pine extract)........ Gunna try agen b4 goin for ivf wiv the vits etc!!! a shot consultant at birmingham womens said try 100mg clommid this cycle took last pills tonight . How much DHEA you going to be taking have you usef it before ? Hi Evie, sorry that the Op didn't worked, but that Af of your sound like MC to me I know what you mean about the rollercoaster I have bean there with my IVFs, But now i am looking forward to my reversal and give nature a shot ( well a few shots )
Quinny and Evie I took DHEA on my last IVF and it did helped with the quantity and quality of my eggs and I didn't have any bad side effects at all the only thing I had was an urge of sex  and my husband was very about that I was taking 75g a day they come in bottles of 25g or 50g so i got one of each and took 2 tablets in the morning together with Royall Jelly and Folic Acid, the only thing is you need to start taking DHEA 3 month before you start IVF or ttc. Like I said before It did made a huge difference with me on my 1st IVF I had 10 follicles and 3 eggs and on my 2nd I hade 18 follicles and 7 eggs and 100% fertilisation so I will said GO FOR IT!!!! sick of the stuff now  I'm taking sytemic enzymes for my tube, hoping they might help with the scarring , nothing else (hormonal)apart from the dong quai , not sure if I'll even bother with that this month though after the weird stuff last month 
I have got a blend of grapeseed,green tea extract and pyconogel though and also something called astaxanthin which is supposed to be the most powerful antioxidant which I take with my normal vits and stuff when I remember 
Good luck with the DHEA, I've heard good things about it with the IVF Ladies on another forum, as far as quantity and quality go Did you speak to the hospital again ? What about this other one Anna's looking at if its a similar price xx
Anna some of the IVF Ladies on here get their meds from ASDA apparently you can get a prescription from the clinic and then get them from another pharmacy and it works out a lot cheaper  I'm sure the Ladies on there could tell you the costs Good luck with the appointment xx
Faith the flushing only helps with temporary blockages, things like debris and dried mucus, although even saying that I had a HSG and two laps and none of them even flushed my temporary blockage out
After the reversal any blockage is more likely to be from external adhesions or internal scarring . The AF before I went for the cannulation last year I had a decidual cast where the whole of the womb lining comes away in one piece not pleasant and probably caused by the Noresthisterone I'd been taking to delay AF , but anyway when that happened there was a weird extra little piece attached to one side of the cast in the perfect shape of where the tube would be when i had the cannulation the proximal blockage I'd been being told about from the other investigations was gone ( I suspect it was the little extra bit on the cast )
but I had a scar tissue blockage at the op repair site you could literally see the tube stretched by the dye up to that point then it stop at the stitches from the reversal on the pics, they did try to flush it with the dye with no luck and even tried to move it with the wire but still no luck not even a tiny bit of dye got through, the doc who did the Op is the leading man in the north west (well he's the only NHS man in the north west who does it ) and he said it wasn't removable
I think the temporary blockage may perhaps have been a little bit of endo in my tube
We have a family history so its possible,if that had still been there they might have been able to clear it, but the scarring is different even if they try to remove it surgically then it will normally come back
He told me they do sometimes find proximal blockages they can clear but then scarring further along anyway
I lost my other tube during the reversal, it was stuck together and stuck to the back wall of my abdomen and couldn't be saved, a few of us on here only had one tube after the reversal, which was another thing I was a bit shocked by as I just presumed that if he could save one he could save them both

Hope everyone is ok?? Quinny i've taken DHEA befor but only from af to ov n 50mg, no SE but not sure if i was doin it right, so that's were u come in Nat!! Was goin to put a little more effort into it this time, like losin weight n takin the vits agen n doin wot i can to help myself. Just wonderin wot u take Nat n how how much etc. Good luck quinny wiv the ivf
Nat that af befor yor op sounded awful really hope u get that bfp! When i ad my op i was told it went really well n didn't lose much tube but i don't know if they're blocked now........

I took the DHEA for a while , I found it gave me very greasy hair and skin but nothing else I don't think The women taking it for IVF tended to take it all cycle for 3 cycles beforehand Some had no symptoms and some had every one going
With the vits I'd just get a pregnancy or pre natal supplement , most supermarkets do their own now and they have the same stuff in as the expensive ones , and all the boring stuff like cutting out caffeine and alcohol and exercising etc. (boooo)
On FF they have a great section for IVF over forty and there are loads of ideas on there for things that might help and stuff people tried and if they had a better cycle with it
I pinched some ideas just to try and help with egg quality
The enzyme that might help with scarring and blockages is Nattokinase , you can get it on amazon now and its helped a lot with my external scarring Also Serrapeptase, I tried that on its own before the op last year and had been taking it a few weeks when i had the cast and think I lost the temporary blockage, I did wonder if it had shrunk that enough for it to come away Could have been a total coincidence but there's no reason you can't take either while waiting for the IVF and they say it takes 3 months for the best effect xxx

WELCOME FAITH!!!! HOPE EVERYTHING TURNS OUT GGOD FOR YOU.... NAT HOW HAVE U BEEN FEELING? I'M FEELING BETTER. NOT AS DOWN AS I WAS.. DID MY 21 PROGESTERONE LEVEL TODAY. SHOULD GET THE RESULTS TOMORROW. GO TO THE DOCTOR NEXT FRIDAY TO SET UP THE HSG TEST TO SEE IF THEY ARE BLOCKED.. MY CYCLE HAS BEEN WEIRD THIS MONTH.. 1ST MY AF WAS ONLY 3 DAYS THEN I FELT LIKE I OV THE DAY AFTER MY AF WHICH WAS CD4. TOOK MY CLOMID ON CD3 TO CD7. STARTED MY PROGESTERONE PILLS ON CD8 TIL CD12. I STARTED OV TESTING AND GOT NEG FROM CD 10 TIL CD17 THATS WHEN I STARTED THE PROGESTERON VAGINAL GEL ON CD17. I BD EVERYDAY FROM CD10 TIL CD15.. I DID BD ON CD4 WHEN I HAD THE EGG WHITE MUCAS.. COULD I HAVE OV ON CD4? MY BOOB ARE KILLING ME THEY HAVE EEN LIKE THAT FOR OVER A WEEK NOW. SO TIRED THAT WHEN I GET OFF WORK I TAKE A NAP.. ITS PROB THE DAMN MEDS ... Post subject: Shelly you can get ewcm sometimes just from the clomid as it makes your oestrogen shoot up while you're taking it
, even on the soy i would feel like I was about to ov while taking then it would go again when I stopped and I'd ov later
I think cd4 is too early for ov, I think the shortest I've ever heard of is cd7 but even thats very rare , for most women it would take at least 10 days to get to the point where that one egg is ready to go just because they can only grow so much a day
Did you time your bloods based on getting that pos on cd17 ? FX for a good result
Did your doc say why she wants you to take progesterone before ov ? Just wondering because everything I've read about the cyle and processes suggests you need oestrogen to be the dominant hormone until just after ov
I've been up and down Shelly, I was fine when AF arrived but then the last few days I've just felt like whats the point I know I often feel like that just after AF though so i'm trying to ignore it and just carry on as I was xx

Post subject: Morning ladies. Not been on here in a while. Was at my docs the other day as i wasnt sure if i should have had a check up after my op in october. He told me no but if i didnt have a bfp by may then i was to go back and he would refer me for a lap and dye. Wasnt expecting him to say they could do that so soon thought he was going to tell me i would have to wait until i had it done a year.
On the plus side i signed up to the clearblue trial that they are running at the moment so was sent out the clearblue fertility monitor to trial for 3 months. Fc it helps. How is everyone else doing. Has there been any bfp's xx Posted: Sat Feb 09, 2013 8:36 am

it might seem like a big step going straight for the lap, but honestly so many women on here get told their tubes are blocked on HSG and then it turns out they aren't on the lap, at least this way you'll be sure, and if there are any little kinks in the tubes or adhesions they can sort that out at the same time as well
I used the cbfm and found it good for giving me the high days , so you get warning that you're about to ov and can get some practise in takes the pressure off a bit compared to just using OPK's and then feeling like you have to BD there and then
But try not to worry about when the high days start because i'm sure a couple of months I got so wound up thinking I was going to ov late because I hadn't had my high day yet, that i think I actually delayed it Hope it works for you xx Posted: Sat Feb 09, 2013 5:10 pm

NAT GOT MY LEVELS BACK AND IT IS 6.9.. LAST MONTH IT WAS 53.9.. DONT UNDERSTAND WHY ITS SO LOW THIS TIME.. DOES THAT MEAN I OV OR I DIDNT....I'M SO CONFUSED  .........I DONT REALLY KNOW WHY SHE PUT ME ON THE PROGESTETONE OILLS I KNOW THERE IS A REASON.. I WANNA SAY BECAUSE MY PROGESTERON LEVELS WERE LOW WHEN I DID THE 1ST PROGESTERONE LEVEL IT WAS 1.0 WHICH IS BORDERLINE.... I WANT TO SAY THATS THE REASON WHY...... CAN'T WAIT TO GO TO DR AND SEE WHAT THE [*@!#%*] IS GOING ON...I'M HOPING SHE WILL UP MY CLOMID...
