Post subject: Hope you all had a good weekend Ladies
Jillybeanz not long to go now  are you getting excited yet? Did your doc suggest haing the op at a particular point in your cycle  xx
Sheely its always good to have a back up plan   xx
I was feeling pretty hopeful this cycle, but am not feeling so positive this morning  had quite a temp drop to 98.8 and i'm only 10DPO occasionally I get a temp drop just before AF ,literally an hour or two if at all so now i'm wondering if the witch is on her way  i'm only on cd21 today as well 
Was wondering if I should test as i have to have a filling later and don't know if the injections are safe for pregnancy , but don't need to bother now 
All the other stuff like the sore boobs and heartburn etc. seems to be gone as well
Should have known better than getting my hopes up but as I also think I might have ov'd on the left this month and the external scarring has shrunk so much already I have to admit I did get a little bit excited that it might work
Ah well there's always next month, maybe by then the stuff will have had a chance to do its thing
Didn't really want a baby due on OH's birthday and our anniversary anyway

Post subject: DL05.. I'm very nervous in the fact that its not going to work
but I will try stay positive.. He said it didn't matter where in my cycle I am. I will just have finished af when I have the op. Ov sticks and pregnancy test striPs arrived in the post the other day. I have started taking conception vitamins, all seems a bit unreal and maybe I'm jumping the gun but I can't help but feel slightly excited with the thought that I might be pregnant in the next couple of months... xx Posted: Mon Jan 28, 2013 9:25 am

, I know some docs say to wait, but mine said go for it when ready but I had to wait until my next cycle because I'd just missed ov, I wish I had been just about to ovulate as then I might have been in with a chance
I know a Lady on here who had a baby last year got pregnant about 9 days after her op so it does happen quickly sometimes , It is exciting to think it might be possible though after years of knowing its not Hope you get that BFP xx Posted: Mon Jan 28, 2013 4:41 pm

Well I have my consultation on thurs
excited but nervous . I am thinking of having couple shots of IUI They do it for £500 . And im thinking seeing as my problem tubal and IUI bypasses tubes

Jillybeanz on the build up to reversal I was convince I'd be pregnant by Xmas as before my sterilisation I only had to look at it and 9 months later
I had my reversal first week June 2012 and by the beginning October I was down hearted ,I called and spoke to my consultant (private) he told to get my gp to do blood test to check I was OV , the test results came back 22 he asked the gp to prescribe clomid went up to 55 but the only gave me one months supply and then referred me back to my consultant BUT this time on NHS ..appt in November he gave me 6 months worth and also booked me for HSG in December ..results of hsg left tube blocked but right one Open

Hope everyone is well???? Feelin very sorry for myself, af due tomorro (which i know she will as i've all the usual symptoms) n i can't stop cryin (agen) feel like i've wasted the last 3years ov my life. Just wish i cud switch off n not worry/stress about it but it's so much easier sed than done.  really sorry ladies for bawlin my eyes out like this. No one understands wot we're goin thru.
Nat wot's this soya stuff n where can u get it from?? Does it actually work?? Sorry for ramblin, feel like clutchin at straws....... Still goin for the ivf but will try anythin before hand aswell. Sorry for short message but i'm strugglin to see the screen thru all the tears n i can't keep wipin my nose on the scrap ov tissue paper. Hope u've all ada god day. im due 2moz got usual.bad back ect It is hard and no one understands how much it hurts mth after mth for me personal it gets harder and dh dosent truely understand ive cried a river and many nights lay silently crying in bed Dont give up yet hun there is always hope are you going to birmingham still for IVF ? as not sure if you read my above post but they do IUI for £500 very gd price xx _________________ Posted: Tue Jan 29, 2013 7:26 am

Yeah Quinny i've all the usual symptoms that af will cum. I read yor earlier post but i don't know if my tubes are blocked n i don"t really understand wot is involved in IUI, wud i need to av a hsg test to see if the tubes are open etc. we've also decided to go to the birminigham clinic, i think they av satillite clinics where you can go for scans etc to instead ov travellin to birmingham all the time. its so hard isn't it Impossible to switch off that bit of your brain that thinks about it as well The soy is soy isoflavones, its billed as natures clomid , there's a huge post about it in the TTC section, I did take it myself about 6 times in the first year of trying, it can give you some side effects though, like mood swings and headaches before OV and the first month I took it I got so many 2ww symptoms I genuinely thought I would be pregnant The way it works is to trick your brain into thinking your oestrogen levels are low so it makes more and the idea is that it boosts the developing eggs and might even make you release more than one I took it mainly to try and bring ov forward but it can be hit and miss for that and after a few months my cycles messed up not sure if it was related , there were a lot of women taking it at one point though, and you can buy it from tesco in the vits section, about £4 a bottle that ones best as its just isoflavones some brands have other stuff in as well I would definately have a HSG before considering IUI Evie as there's no point doing it with blocked tubes The HSG might be worth doing before IVF as well to check there's no fluid in your tubes as that can interfere with IVF results xxx
Anna thats not long to wait now, you must be so excited IUI doesn't bypass your tubes though They just either put the washed sperm into your uterus to find their own way or some places put them directly into the tubes , you still need working tubes for the sperm and egg to meet though £500 is a good price for IUI though if they do think you're a good candidate , sorry to hear the witch is on the way xxx
Piggy a lot of women have luck with the clomid a few months in as the effects build up over time
You could well still have two open tubes as well as the HSG dye will often fill one side better than the other and show one open and one closed when both are open especially if the catheter is pointing more towards one than the other, really they should do it so the catheter goes to each tube seperately but they don't bother over here
The only way to confirm a block is to physically clamp the "open" tube during a lap and then see if the dye goes through the "blocked" one , and often it does
That was a great progesterone result as well xx
Well after yesterdays temp dip this morning it was back up to 99.3 F I had a really bizarre dream (about cm  )last night which made me think I was pregnant in the dream and for a few seconds when I first woke up as well but this morning everythings pointing to the witch (b*tch ) arriving in the next few days , keep trying to tell myself it was asking too much for the stuff to work first month, but I suspect there will be tears and tantrums by the weekend Posted: Tue Jan 29, 2013 10:12 am

HOW IS EVERYONE DOING TODAY? I'M ON MY 3RD DAY OF BD AND IM TIRED . THINK I AM OV TODAY DUE TO ME HAVING THE EGG WHITE MUCUS. GOING TO BD AGAIN TONIGHT TIL FRIDAY NIGHT TO MAKE SURE I COVERED ALL MY DAYS..IM GETTING NAUSEA JUST THINKING ABOUT IT!!! I MADE AN APPT WITH MY DOCOTR ON THE 15TH TO GET AN ORDER TO HAVE A HSG DONE. THE SOONER THE BETTER..

Anna you were told your tube is open though weren't you Maybe IUI is still suitable ? It helps with the timing if you have tracking scans and it should mean you get a lot more sperm in the right place at the right time , some places give drugs similar to IVF drugs as well to try and get a few eggs then you might be in with a good chance with it Sorry to hear the witch arrived for you xx
Shelly sounds like you'll be busy for the next few days Sometimes problems are from adhesions on the outside twisting or pulling thetubes and causing a twist that blocks them but a lot of the time when the tubes close its because of internal scarring, just from having the op in the first place
Unfortunately sometimes the body gets a bit carried away when trying to heal a wound and makes a raised scar instead of a flat one and partially blocks the tube or can create a bridge of scar tissue from one side of the tube to the other that completely blocks it which seems to be what I've got,some women are more prone to this than others. I never did get an answer on how quickly thats likely to have happened, I know adhesions form within days after surgery but can break down again , the scarring can build up over time though
Wome after reversals though seem slightly more prone to getting temporary blockages Like the one I had near the uterus, could be because our tubes maybe aren't quite as efficient as they once were at clearing out the mucus that they make each month once its done its job
Any blockage that shows that isn't directly where the op was performed is more likely to be a temporary blockage of mucus or debris and cannulation might well clear it , did your doc say if cannulation is possible there and then if there is a blockage
I know on a few US sites I've seen women had cannulations done in their doctors office using the x-rays from the HSG to guide the cannular xx
I suspect I'll be getting a vist from the witch maybe even sooner than I thought temp was 98.6F this morning boobs back to normal , feeling cranky, boobs back to normal, clear cm all signs the bloomin' witch is imminent  Stupid temps are annoying me now, yesterdays rise got my hopes up and now its right down to a temp I'd only normally get after AF started but the signs I've got today I'd normally have two or three days before she shows If she doesn't actually arrive until Saturday (15 DPO) then my temp will have dropped 5 days before never happened before and that combined with suddenly ov'ing so early got me wondering if it means somethings going wrong
For some reason since my birthday I just keep think that maybe the menopause will start creeping up on me and one of the signs can be your cycles shortening , well mine have gone from 30/31 days in 2010 to an average of 28 days the last half of last year to now 25 days (max) . Maybe i'm just getting paranoid
