Thanks DL05, I hope she is on time I am normally a 28 day cycle, Dr Pickles as giving me Clomids to start on my 5th day of my cycle, I know he usually waits about three month after the reversal to stat on Clomids but I think because I am 40 and my MAH (or what ever the name is lol) is only 4.5 he agree to giving to me now , I want to get my self a ClearBlue to see the day of ovulation as with Clomid it could change a bit. Also I wanted to tell you that I was given Tramadol and Paracetamol for painkiller and Diclofenac (anti inflammatory) for 5 day after the reversal and I must said the are helping a lot as I am pain free at the moment

Thats great Faith, Dr P is starting me on Clomid this month as we are now 4 months ttc to conceive after reversal in June. My AMH is very low too 3.4 so we are against it also. I am a bit sceptical about the clomid now as the nurses on the ward at the time when Dr P suggested it just said it was a horrible drug but sometimes it works! The other reason is there is another lady on the thread who had her periods stop for 6 months. We don't have a lot of options as my DH sperm analysis isnt great either so we will give it a go. Good luck with it

Thanks Nat, frustrated beyond words when this all happened, when I was prescribed clomid Dr Pickles did not mention being monitored whilst taking it (e.g regular scans etc ) and I didn't even think to ask as I was unaware this should be done as I had never heard of Clomid, as I said previously I could set my clock by my 28 day cycle, if i wanted to have a baby we would only have to sit on the same sofa to get me pregnant so never have I had to look at "help" in getting pregnant. However when I went for my reversal Dr P said he would give me Clomid to boost my chances as I was 43 at the time.
Hence when I was sent for a scan the fertility clinic were horrified that I hadn't been told about the monitoring aspect and was told to stop taking it immediately.
All I will say ladies is if you are in the process of taking or have been prescribed clomid, please make sure you are going for regular scans, my GP sent me for mine so am sure you will be referred from your own GP, that was when I was told I had cysts on both ovaries due to the Clomid over stimulating them.
6 months without a period is a bloody long time when you want to TTC so now me and DH are going to try without any help
Once AF has left the building. I am soo excited, hopefully I will be able to share some baby news with you all over the next few months.
Anyway hope you are all well

Hi Nissa, It must be terrible after all you went thru not to be able to ttc for six month but all in the past now and you can look farward to baby making;) I was on Clomid with all my 3 kids but i had no side efects from them at all, I needed them before as my ex husband had a very low sperm mortality and i had artificial inseminasion, This time I ask Dr Pickle if i could take them as i am 40 and my ovarian reserve is low only 4.5 so I know it mite help, also I had 2 IVF the past 2 years and i had much more infertility drugs then clomids, so i am sure i will be fine with them, FC, normaly when you are in clomids they dont scan you i never heard of it but may be is a new thing now?

I wouldn't have known what is right or wrong with scanning whilst taking clomid, maybe it's just my fertility clinic do the scanning as routine while taking it, I have heard so many success stories about the clomid since I started taking it and for some it must be a wonder pill, just wanted to tell the ladies my story with regard to this drug, I thought i would come on here and share my experience just to make the ladies aware. As they say its good to share!!
Fingers crossed we all get our BFP's and then we can all moan and groan about being fat and fed up lol

Hi Ladies, It really is good to have this forum!! Its good to hear everybody's stories albeit good or bad, it helps us novices look and double check everything. I dont have any more options, my AMH very low and DH sperm atrocious but we are hoping this will be the "Miracle" pill everybody says it is
No other news my end - the witch is due on Monday and I just feel it coming on. IF it does I am not even sure when you start taking clomid and will have to ring Dr P secretary Mandy on Monday to see what he recommends.
Good luck to all who are ttc, it does test the best of us but I am extremely grateful for all the support and comments on these threads....It makes it feel like there is a chance

Hi All, well the witch arrived this morning I am gutted I really thought we may have caught this month as I experienced no sign of the witch coming!? Anyway it has happened, I have now emailed Mandy Mr P secretary to ask about the clomid as we would need to be starting this month. Looks like a few of us will be trying like mad this month...
Keep us ladies all posted on how you are getting on?
