Post subject: Sterilisation reversal need advice I am 33 an got sterilised when i was 24 i have 2 girls 1 nearly 17 an the other nearly 14 i have been with my partner who has no kids nealry 10 yrs 6 months after i got sterilised he is amazing with kids full stop we just started talking about me getting reversed which for some wld be a nice happy ending but for me a still do no regret being sterilised an am in to my bikes an always haved worked an alough i would so love to give him a child i am not sure if i want another 1 but am i being selfish i have agreed to go to docs nxt wk or maybe i am scared that we cant get it reversed an we no for def i cant give him a child

Post subject: Not 100% sure what you're asking, but if you're only looking into the reversal for him and not sure if you want another then |I'd talk to him about it first.
Your GP can't give you advise about it as you would have to go private, reversals aren't available on the NHS unless you can prove it should never have been done or you lost a child soon after , NHS GP's are not allowed to reccommend private hospitals or surgeons , so you need to research yourself and see whats available within a distance you're happy to travel. Ops cost between about £3,00-5,000 . IVF is another option as well,especially if you know you only want to have one child and may be better depending on how your sterilisation was done , as some methods are less reversible, also time since sterilisation does seem to make a difference to success rates after reversal but not with IVF If you only wanted one child and are happy to be sterilised and not have the complication of contraception in the future and don't want to fully restore your fertility then IVF might be a better option
