Post subject: You would only get pregnant from sex on day 5 or 6 of your cycle if you ovulated within 7 days of that, thats the maximum time its thought that sperm can live for in your body, If you have a 28 day cycle or shorter then it probably is possible just .
But if your cycle is more like 30 days or more than its pronbably less likely , your cycle is split in to two parts , pre ovulation (follicular phase) and post ovulation (luteal phase) a lot of doctors will say a woman with a 28 day cycle ovulates around day 14 or mid cycle, but lots of women find they don't, it can be anything from as early as day 10 to as late as day 18 and with a longer or shorter cycle the possible days will change, you can have a long follicular phase and a short luteal phase or vice versa, so I suppose what i'm saying is there's no way to know if you could get pregnant from sex on that day unless you know when you ovulated Whether you're bleeding or not doesn't necessarily affect your chances of a pregnancy happening, really the only way to be sure if you don't keep track of ov is to never have unprotected sex
