My baby daughter has failed both hearing tests with the midwives so tomorrow we are off to the hospital to have the third test. Starting to get a little nervous now, I know its more likely that her hearing is fine but I'm aware there's a possibility that she may have hearing loss.
Not looking forward to the long bloody walk up the hill to the hospital though! Good thing mum is coming with me to push the pram up the hill for me ... well, I did have a c-section so I can't strain myself can I? _________________

Good luck. It's usually just mucus in their ears especially after a c-section.
Unfortunately my baby failed his hearing tests and at 3 weeks it was confirmed he is deaf (sorry I don't want to scare you). It was hard to cope with at first.
He can hear so many sounds with his hearing aids and he is a very happy little boy and baby chats all the time, he's a little chatter-box.
Let us know how you get on. _________________

Hi all, Naia passed with flying colours! Guess she must just have selective hearing like the rest of the women in my family! But very glad there's no more hospital tests to undergo at the minute. Thanks all! _________________
