What's happening to my baby?

Post subject: What's happening to my baby? My baby boy has 5 years old.He is very healthy but since 2 month he suffering with lots of joint pains especially knee pain.We consulted a child specialist,he said every thing is clear in X-ray.He gave some joint supplements,but my baby didn't get any pain relief.
Suggest me any other doctor or if you have any experience about this type of joint pains with your babies please tell me what to do now. Thank You. Posted: Fri Jan 18, 2013 8:27 am
Post subject: Wondered if he has had his Rheumatoid Factor tested. My mum has suffered from joint pain X-rays were clears but they tested her RF and showed Rhemstoid Arthritus, swelling is also common. Celiacs can also get joint pain too but I would think other symptons would be present. Hopefully it's just growing pains or stiff joints and nothing serious. It must be just awful for him. Swimming is good exercise too without putting strain on your joints and I would ask your doctor whether that would be good for him.

Post subject: My sister had it and the doctor told my mum it was growing pains and that she would grow out of it.. Her knee used to lock and she wouldn't be able to stand up shes 7 now and very tall for her age but as far as I know she doesnt have the pain anymore or its very rare she does
