we were supposed to have a massive fall of snow in the west midlands, and most of the schools in the area have shut, people being warned of gridlocked roads, panic buying food and petrol.
got up this morning to a fine dusting! bet there is a lot of [*CENSORED*] off parents who have had to take time off work cause the schools shut. _________________

I thought that when I left the Midlands to com back south I would never see snow again ... I've got loads here in Surrey.
But I've got no kids in school so that doesn't bother me but I was planning on going into town but now I'm not. I'm staying in my pjs all day! _________________

ive no snow here in Cornwall
Ive been looking at facebook at all my friends and family coz they have had snow. Its not that much but nearly all the schools r closed, buses and taxis r not running. Makes me laugh to think up north they just carry on yet in Wiltshire everything comes to a stand still.
If i had snow here id be in the garden making a snowman and snowdog. _________________

That's a bit strange for the schools to shut without there being an actual reason Up here they only decide in the morning depending on how bad the snow is and it needs to be pretty bad for them to shut even then.
We've no snow here. But we have some forecast for Monday, although not as much as England. _________________

Hope everyone down south keeps safe and doesn't get snowed in x _________________

This is why the schools have closed. Loads have based on the forecast and the advice not to travel unless necessary.
We haven't really got any here. A few flakes but that's it and I don't think we're going to get much either _________________
