Wow that isn't alot of adoptions. Could you adopt from another country?

Do you favor drinking your shakes for one meal over another. What do you usually eat for your one meal?

I weigh myself everyday but only record the weight in my journals on Mondays. Weighing daily helps me feel like I am doing something abt it. It makes me feel in control. Recording it once a week keeps me from stressing over gain/losses.

Unfortunately over here it's hard with overseas adoptions and a lot put restrictions on that we can't omply with. So no go.

I have a shake for breakfast and lunch and a meal at dinner only cos it's easier to have shakes at work.
We have baked potatoes and salad, or lasagne and salad, baked dinners, the occasional low cal frozen meal. In the end, as long as my calories are around 1000 a day, then I can have what I want. I don't eat Lollies (candy), chips or chocolate anymore, except for those chewy fruit mint eclipse things, and only occasionally have two.
But after all this I've lost the craving for them.
I do have icy poles, not sure wat u would call them, Popsicles maybe? The calippo minis are only 54 calories.

I'm a lil OCD with the scales. I weigh multiple times a day. Can't help it. I would freak only checking weekly lol.

How are you doing at the moment.

Sorry it took so long to respond. I had to go to the city today to get blood work done. Sunday and Monday I was pretty good and got on the exercise bike. Yesterday I didn't do anything. Not sure what I will do tonight. I weighed in at 207 lbs Monday morning and have hit 209 lbs today and yesterday. I love that time of the month. It irritates me Evil or Very Mad I will see if my weight goes back down in a few days.

My mouth is really sore and is driving me crazy. I have to go back to the dentist.

It sounds like you get a good meal. We have popsicles here. We have a few that are low calorie.

How many calories are in your shakes? How are you doing on the scales?

Hope the bloodworm goes well.
Your poor teeth, they should not still hurt, go back.
You gotta expect hormone week will suck! Next week it will all come off again.
My shakes have 219 calories including the 200ml of skim milk, plus I put in half a cup of frozen cherries, 30cal, so 250 in total. Plus loads of ice blitzed up to make a creamy vanilla cherry hake... Yummy!
I've lost 49 pound now, down to 317 pound from 366.
What is your name?

Hi Lara, I am Cassie

Those shakes don't sound to bad at all! Smile

I talked to my dentist abt the pain and he said it is one of two things. Either my bite need to be adjusted or my mouth is just sore because of all the work I have had done. I had a root canal started at the end of November and am get the final touches taken care of on Monday and I had a root extraction and if I am remembering right 6 or 7 cavities. I also talked to the specialist and he said it could cause me pain for up to a year but it will probably hurt about 2-3 months. Ibprofin is the only thing that I have found that takes away the pain and it isn't supposed to be taken during pregnancy so I want the pain to go away quick. When they get the permanant crown in Monday they will have to redo my bite.

I haven't been doing great lately on the weight. I take it off, it comes back, I get rid of it and here it comes. I was down to 201 before I started the femara. I was looking forward to being under 200 lbs again. I hope to see it soon. At the the end of a night I usually end up abt 209 but the last few nights I have been abt 211.

You are doing great!! Almost 50!! Very Happy That is so amazing!

How are the weights treating you?

Hey Cassie.
Wow that's a long time to have the pain! How awful.
Have u tried cloves? A tiny amount rubbed on the gums should numb it. But not too much or too often.
I really hope it improves soon.
At least you are relatively maintaining, once your body has settled down, it will start losing again. But remember, being in so much pain won't help either, the body is trying to protect itself.
The weights are going well, can really feel it in my triceps which is wat I want. Next aim... Stumps and thigh exercises!!!

I haven't tried cloves. Vanilla Extract numbs it as does mouthwash for a little while, not to long though. I had a nasty tooth infection in November. I have read that infections in your body can keep an egg from implanting so I told the dentist to do as much as he could in each visit. I finished several rounds of antibiotics around Christmas.

I will get my blood work results Friday or Monday and see where we go from there.

Glad to hear you can feel it in your triceps!! Means it is doing some good!! Very Happy It would be so awesome if we both got to be bump buddies. So on average how much have you been losing? It seems like you are losing pretty steady!!

My DH and I are talking abt moving. I am ready for a change. (Will be in the same town) I just want more room. I feel like a good change is coming my way. Not sure when or what it is but I have been feel very peaceful and happy abt it lately. I feel like it is time to start nesting. Hopefully it is a good sign! Smile

Wow I didn't know that.

Very exciting o be getting your bloods one.

I'm glad my triceps are getting worked oo. Just asked DH to buy me a fit all etc.
It would be totally awesome to be numb buddies.... This year no less!!!

Ooh moving house is always good. I'm living in my 41st place, so I say If ou want o pick up nd move to somewhere more comfortable then do it. I love making a home just right. The kitchen is the best place to set up.
My DH and I have done almost all the work ourselves.
Nesting can only be good. Now or the bump!

Wat sort of diet are you trying to follow?

The diet I am supposed to be following but haven't been is no a low carb diet. It is the South Beach diet. I just love my breads and pastas way to much. I figure if I just cut it back and drink more water that has got to help some.

I didn't get any exercise in last night. Mouth is driving me crazy. I have narrowed the pain to the temporary crown. I may end up calling the dentist and see abt getting in tomorrow. I work all day today.

The kitchen is the neatest room in the house we are considering. It has tons of cabinets and shelves. I am in love with it.

41 times!! Wow!! I am impressed!! You must be an expert when it comes to packing!! This will only the 4th place I have lived in my life.

Hey Cassie
I've heard of the South Beach Diet I have to admit to being a carboholic too lol.
Im bad and don't drink enough water. Will have to get back on it.
Because we look after my parents, we live on the second floor of our house,we converted a bedroom into a kitchen, and overall have no cupboard space anywhere, thus I am jealous of your potential kitchen lol.
I have to admit to being pretty blasé about moving these days lol.
When will you decide or know if you get the house.
How very exciting.
The best. It will be when you can set up the nursery!!!
I just bought the Jillian Michaels DVD set on eBay. Very excited. She is awesome.
Me and DH are watching this seasons Biggest Loser USA at the moment. Love that show.

Got much planned for the weekend?

I had to fast for my blood work and my DH took me out afterwards for dinner. I ended up with pasta. I am struggling with cutting back on carbs. I got on the scale this morning and was back down at 207 lbs. I was so excited. I can't wait to get under 200 lbs. I have come so close several times but gain the weight back. I was even at 201!! It is so frustrating. I have been struggling so much with my weight bouncing around.

I will find out abt the house in the next few weeks. I really want it.

So do you have many bedrooms upstairs? Do you have one picked out for the nursery when the time comes? I can't quit dreaming abt decorating one. I haven't been too sad abt not having a baby (I do have my moments though) I am more focused on preparing for the baby. Smile

I am addicted to the biggest loser as well. I think the workouts will be very great. I haven't done one all the way thru. I did start one but when I started doing jumping jacks the floor started shaking and it sounded like what I would imagine a jumping elephant to sound like. I sat the rest of it out because I didn't want to wake DH who was sleeping bc he was working the night shift. I am going to have to give it a try again now that his hours changed. Smile

I think I am only planning on exercising and packing stuff that doesn't get much use this weekend. I figure even if we don't get this house at least we will be packed for a future move!! Smile

Hey Cassie
So sorry or late reply, I totally only just saw this. 😳
When do you find out about your blood tests?
Lovely you got to go out for dinner with your DH.
I looove pasta.
Well done on your weight, that's awesome.
I've been a bit north and eaten a bit bread this weekend, was soooo hungry.
Still lost three more pound, so 52 down now, yay!

I really hope you get your house.

We have te master bedroom with a spare bedroom that would end up the nursery.
I've looked at things I would love to have in a nursery.
I may or may not have a few things for a potential baby, don't worry my DH knows lol.
In fact about half way through this I got something online, my husband said if you want, just get it.
Then will put away til I may one day use it.
To be fair, it's something I rarely do.
My mil has made stuff or us, but it's all packed away. (now I'm really embarrassed 😳).
Bwahaha I am lol at the jumping jacks (we call them star jumps).
I can't wait for the DVDs to arrive to start them.
I can't believe Jillian only has one contestant left (last episode I got her second last one left).

How did the packing and weekend go???

Hope it went well.
Me and DH weren't very well so just chilled out and watched the first 12 eps of elementary. Quite good.

Hope to hear fom you soon.

Didn't get alot accomplished. I can't believe how bad my mouth is still hurting. It is both sides now. I can't find anything to cut the pain so I resorted to vicodin and I really really hate the stuff. It did help. I have my appt tomorrow.

I got my blood results yesterday. I failed to ovulate again so I got my referal to the RE and I have an appt set up Feb 25 which was the earliest they could get me in.
My cholesterol and triglycerides were thru the rough with this last test. I had my cholesterol and triglycerides checked in April and they were in normal, in June they were high, now they are alot worse. Triglycerides are supposed to be 150. In June they were 253 and they are now 368. I am wondering if some of the medicenes that I am on are messing with it. I haven't been eating out as much and I have lost weight since June. I made an appt with a local dr to talk to about all this.

I weighed today at 206 lbs!! Only 1 lb down from last week but still Yay! Congrats on the 52 lbs!! Very Happy I am so happy for you. That is quite a bit. You are getting so much closer!! I can't wait till I hit 52 lbs but 20 lb felt/feels like a big deal to me!!!

Did you go up north with your DH?

I have been wanting to buy baby stuff for us but I am trying to resist the urge. I have to buy for a couple upcoming baby showers later this year so hopefully I can get that out of my system but I doubt it will. What have you bought so far? That is so sweet your mil has made you stuff for the baby.

I am just hoping we a chance to buy stuff for our own babies this year. I think we both have waited long enough. Smile

I have watched a few episodes of elementary. I was surprised I liked them but they aren't bad Smile

You need to find something that helps your mouth, not good at all.

Sorry your bloods say you nit ovulating, but glad u have an appt booked.
Yikes, not good bout your other results either.
I've just found out I ave elevated cholesterol too, not sure of the numbers though.
Well done on another pound own, very exciting.
Hope we both end up setting up nurseries this year.
Would be so awesome!

Soo, in the 2 and a half hours since I started this....
Someone came in to our shop with a n abandoned kitty less than two weeks old. Still has a goodly amount of umbilical cord attached.
So guess who brought it home?
I was coming home as the drugs I'm on are causing depression and anxiety, so this cheered me up.
But... We already have two chickens, three cats and two dogs, one of which is trying to mother the kitten. Lol

Sounds like you have a houseful of animals Smile I think they are good for people. What color is the kitten? I think it is sweet that your animals are already adopting it. We only have a dog bc that is all we are allowed.

I am sorry to hear that some of your meds are making you depressed and anxious. Sometimes I feel that all the meds they put us on does more harm than good. Are you going to go home and treat yourself?

I am off to visit the dentist in a few hours and hopefully the pain will disappear.

I am getting nervous abt the consultation. Depending on what route they put me down I may have to stay up north with my parents and drive home the night before or the day I have to work and then drive back north. I was told by a girl who is doing IVF that she has to be at the office every day for scans. I live 2 hrs away from the office and can't make that drive everyday. A 4 hr drive a day would just be to much on me and our gasoline budget. If I stay with my parents, in laws and grandma they live an hour away from the drs but on the side farther away from our home. So I will see very little of my husband. I hate the idea of being away from him and if that 1st IVF fails I will be with our families another month or two with repeat IVFs.
