Aromatherapy

Post subject: Aromatherapy Can anyone recommend any oils that smell nice and are relaxing but safe to use in pregnancy. Want to use aromatherapy as a trigger for my hypnotherapy so want to familiarise myself with something through the pregnancy. I have camomile but it doesnt really have a smell. Any good recommendations? xx

Lavender - not to be used with epidurals and should be used minimally in conjunction with injectable narcotics - not to be used by people with hay fever and asthma Chamomile - not before term Clary sage - not before term - may cause headaches if overused Mandarin Lemon All these above are for labour specifically and early labour. Post subject: Oh no! Ive been using camomile on and off with tea tree oil for months as a way of relaxing. I knew clary sage wasnt to be used. Wow thats shocking!!! slightly gutted though as I was hoping to use some soothing oils xx
