Post subject: to be honest there is a possibility but everyone is different, with my ex the pull out method worked for years and it worked for a few months with my current partner until we decided to ttc. I didnt even bother using the pull out method just after I had ava as i was breastfeeding and midwife told me you cant get pg while solely bfing xx

Post subject: Ah I see so I cud be but unlikely as its low sperm in the pre come. The thing is what do I do fri at my app do I say iv had protected sex or just go ahead and get the coil what wud happen if I was pregnant?? Should I just go in the pill as that shouldn't harm the baby if I was pregnant I'm very confused

Post subject: I'd tell them the truth, you've had uprotected sex, until you can reliably test I'd just use condoms.
Mind you I have to admire your energy, there was no chance of us having sex before my 6 week check and can't imagine we would this time either lol _________________ ![]()

Post subject: I'd definately tell them, it wouldn't be good to have the coil and then find out you were pregnant as it can cause problems with the pregnancy , the thing with the pull out method is that the tubes still contain a lot of sperm from the previous time you had sex, ones that didn't get washed out because there wasn't enough force at the end of the ejaculation, well next time you have sex and that pre ejaculation fluid is released during sex then there can be thousands of sperm in it
Even after a vasectomy where the tubes are cut, you're not considered safe from pregnancy until a clear SA and that can take 3 months The general rule for testing is if you get a negative 19 days after the least unprotected sex then its very unlikely you are pregnant Posted: Wed Jan 30, 2013 8:13 am
Post subject: Obviously yes, you can get pregnant breast feeding, but its just like you can get pregnant on any contraception..
The only way to not get pregnant is to not have sex I have gotten pregnant on the coil, implant and pill so would consider myself very fertile yet breastfeeding is the only time I didnt get pregnant, it is different for everyone. To get pregnant while breastfeeding I was told you need an affluent diet, so you have to be eating quite a bit.. I dont know my midwife told me it was 70%-80% effective as a contraceptive.. good enough for me But because nothing is 100% I eventually decided to do charting as a contraceptive which worked a treat, you have to get to know your cycle first though and abstain for 7 days around ovulation.. and when I finally decided to ttc i fell pregnant the first month, so if you were thinking charting as a contraceptive didnt work for me by looking at my ticker its because she was very much planned _________________
