Their meant to be brilliant for toning the pelvic floor muscles too! I used one for birth but not my pregnancy and I found it eased contractions alot, eased that pressure build up you can get in labour too so I would highly recommend one xx

I've got one I'm on it now ha. It helps with my spd. Just not sure if I should be circling or bouncing. Baby was almost funny engaged at last check - 1/5 x

I think its good to be doing that. gets baby in position ready for labour and there is nothing worng with baby coming after 37 weeks. Ava was born at 37+5 and she was still a good size (7lb 4oz)xx

I used to circle my hips and kinda sway from side to side. I never actually bounced Confused
Also used it to lean over to get baby into a anterior position and by heck that worked..she shot out in the end Wink

Hey hun, I was told by my physio to bounce in a triangle shape, did it throughout my pregnancy and baby was engaged from about 34 weeks, it really helped with my spd and got her into the right position.

From about 25 weeks last time, I sat on my ball to watch TV, bounced on it, rocked on it, anything!! I also knelt on the floor and lay over it as well. The midwife said she thought this was why Izzy had engaged nicely and why my induction was successful. Whether it was or it wasn't, OH has got it down from the attic for me so we'll try it again!
