Hi all, hope you are all well and enjoying the weekend?
Emmie, I'm glad to hear your symptoms are back in full swing, I made a pregnancy diary with my first and I read in there that my symptoms kept disappearing then raising their head again so it seems to be the norm
Yes I think I might give work the 'I'm just getting fat' response if anyone says anything!! Will be a bit suss though as I'm craving fruit (usually dont eat anything sweet) so I'm eating a massive fruit salad everyday
Popped over to a friends to drop their son's birthday resent off today and I'm pretty sure my friend has guessed! She didnt say anything and would respect our privacy anyway but she gave me a knowing look twice, despite accepting a glass of wine (I was tee-total with my first pg, but figured one glass wont hurt this time, I seem to be more relaxed in many ways with this pregnancy).
Feeling pretty rough today and had to lie down for a while earlier, which isnt like me! Going to visit family tomorrow adn have so much housework to catch up on its a joke, just not been feeling right and the housework has suffered, oh well, it will still be there tomorrow
Hope you are all well xx _________________

Shower gel!!!! Brilliant! I'm craving the same as I did with my first, fruit, water, cold things like you, with my first I craved ice lollies and would eat them mid-winter wrapped in a blanket because I was so cold!!
A guy in works wife craved plaster (off the walls) and would pick it off and eat it its called Pica I think, when you crave inedible foods like coal etc!
Glad the midwife finally called, at 9pm!!! Thats a bit unprofessional!! Got ages to wait until my booking appointment now, its the day after yours Emmie, I was hoping by leaving it late going to docs to say I'm pregnant would mean my appointments would be spread out but no such luck! Guess its not that long to wait now, I'm 9 weeks today
So many flippin' times its almost come out about the pregnancy, a guy in my office is about to become a Dad for the first time, he wife will be induced Friday and he is so worried about her and the birth, I was trying to put him at ease but almost slipped up so many times and almost said about my pregnancy! Think they know any tbh
Well done to you both on the swimming, I really need to take Lel but I hate it! A friend is a kids swimming instructor and hes always on at me to bring her
My dry-heaving shows no sign of letting up, my nausea has got a bit better though and I'm not as tired as I was which is a relief, although I have done 45mins of ironing and had to sit down (and check askbaby) because I was feeling woozy!
How is everyone else doing?xxx _________________

Hi April, I'm glad to hear of your symptoms (in the sense that its a good pregnancy sign!!) I can totally sympathise with the heaving I wrote in my pregnancy diary that it felt like I had a permanent hangover, and I remember feeling like that!!
I'm pleased to hear you get your early scan soon, if you dont mind me asking, is it because of your previous losses?
I'm counting down the days until my scan, still not brave enough to add a ticker, just want to go to sleep and wake up at 12 weeks!!xx _________________

Hey poppytops, I am glad of the symptoms as with my 2 mc I didn't feel rough a lot but with kayne I felt awful from 6-10weeks so it is a good sign I hope. I am feeling sorry for myself though haha.
Yes im having a scan because of my mcs, I spoke to my doctor on the phone and I asked if I could have one and she said yes, it wont be for at least a week as my epu are rubbish and even when I was bleeding with my last mc I didn't get seen for a week. So all being well we should see the heat beat and then I hope I relax a little.
Ill call the midwife dept at the hospital once ive had the scan to do the booking in appt but I dont want to do that too early this time.
I dont feel brave enough to do a ticker either just yet xxx _________________

Our EPU is also a nightmare, well the hospital in general is tbh, so I have opted to go to another hospital this time, not as new and fancy, but I'm hoping it will be more patient focussed
With my M/C I didnt have any symptoms apart from slightly sore boobs, it was totally different, it felt totally different, but this time I couldnt literally be reliving my first pregnancy, which I have found so reassuring! I still poke my boobs every now and then to make sure they are still sore Hubby laughs at me and if anyone caught me doing this in work I dont know what I would say xxx _________________

Thats good you are being looked after well this time April. My friend had a m/c with her second and they wouldnt let her have an early scan when she was pg again.
Ive got a bad cold and am struggling to get up, even eating sees a chore and i dont fancy anything apart from fuit salad, i actually sent hubby out to Asda to get me some but he forgot and come back with other stuff like apples and pepper. I got really upset so hes gone back out and is getting me some (he had to go out any way)
Poppytots i still do that with my boobs
Only 2 weeks now until i see midwife, i hope its going to make it feel more real and maybe i can start to relax a bit and enjoy being pregnant. _________________

I'm loving the fruit salad too Emmie Been taking a massive tub of it to work and scoffing the lot!!
Had to change my work clothes today as I looked pregnant Ugh, didnt think it would be so quick but I remember my friend coming clean about her pregnancy about week 10 because she was showing, feeling very paranoid now that I wont be able to conceal it for much longer...
Its so frustrating as I only have to hide it for another 2.5 weeks...
Feeling so tired today, wont be long to bed me thinks xxx _________________

Well I have my scan booked for tuesday yay. I am still feeling so ill I just cant do anything and every little smell is making me gag, changing my sons nappy is a whole new task now. I have either gained weight or have some bloating too as my jeans are soo tight I cant wear them.
Emmie I had 2 mcs last year and my gp is great, she sent me for bloods to check if anything was wrong and has referred me to a mc specialist, I have the appointment in may and im not going to cancel it untill ive had the 12 week scan just incase. They dont normally do tests untill youve had 3 so I do feel lucky xxx _________________

Hi April, I'm pleased to hear you have your scan booked, hopefully that will set your mind at ease
I have my scan in 2 weeks and counting, I have lost all of my symptoms which is worrying, and I'm paranoid every time I go to the loo I think I would much rather feel rough and sick than worry its all over Still, I guess theres no reason for me to worry...
I cant fit in to most of my wardrobe now, its getting awkward with work-wear as only a few things don't show off my bloat Alos stopped my exercise regime which doesnt help matters!

Love my kids to bits but they are rubbing me up the wrong way. House looks nice and tidy for a change lol. Ok going to have to go lie down with lil man as he keeps getting out of the cot as soon as you put him in talk to you tom xx

Hope you all had lovely weekends.
Hi Kittiekat. Congratulations and welcome to October mummies.
My cold is finally passing after 3 days of bed rest, having all day "morning" sickness hasn't helped. Its more like motion sickness. Its horrible.
Ive not been able to eat much in the last 3 days so i hope baby didn't suffer much.
Good luck with your scan 2moro April. Will b nice to see the baby so early and see how much it chances by your 12 week scan. x
Poppytots, i feel in the evening that nothing fits me. Ive had to dig out an old pare of tracksuit bottoms that are a bit big really but much more comfortable to wear. Dont know what im going to wear when i have to go out i the week though.
Ive the midwife 1 week 2moro. Exciting! _________________

Welcome to October Mummies Kittiekat, wowzers, 5 at home and one on the way, you are officially the October Mummies guru!! What ages are your little ones?
My symptoms have returned, for which I am grateful but my goodness I feel rough Perhaps I'm coming down with something too!
Emmie, I'm glad to hear your cold is finally on the off and I know what you mean about motion sickness!! ugh!!
April, good luck with your scan, let us know how you get on xx
Well its 2 weeks until my scan now, Kittiekat, I'm due around the 1st too, I recognise your name, perhaps we have replied to each others threads or something...??
Cant wait for these 2 weeks to be done with and I can finally tell everyone why I'm so moody and bloated Snapped the guys head off again in work today, he didnt speak to me for the rest of the say which, to be honest, I was grateful for, hes a douch
Left half my dinner tonight, which is not like me at all, cant eat anything else, my stomach has expanded so much I'm concerned for my (and others who walk to close) safety xxx _________________
