Post subject: Do they follow suit? Ok so Ava was born at 37 weeks and I had strong braxton hick throughout (from about 18 weeks) I was never 100% sure of my dates but the 12 week scan dated it and there is no way they could have been 3 weeks out surely??
Anyway I am sure of my dates this time but wondered if my dates with Ava were right and she really did come 3 weeks early then what are the chances of this one coming early, I have been getting braxton hicks since 15 weeks with this one and just wondered if that is a sign she will come early.. Has anyone ever had an early baby (not preterm) and then had their second baby late? xx _________________

Post subject: I don't think they do follow suit tbh, Oliver was only a couple of days early but Tilly was a week late.
There was a november mummy that had previous early baby's and gone overdue this time. A baby is classed as term from 37 and 99% are born before 42wks so thats a 5wk window lol _________________   Posted: Fri Feb 08, 2013 9:18 am
Post subject: I went 41+5
36 weeks 38 +4 and then 40 weeks exactly  so my first 4 were all over the place 
My sister went early with her first 4 (not by much a few days to a week) then went 10 days over with number 5 
I wouldn't count on anything really and just expect baby when they turn up 
Oh and I had no BH's (that I noticed anyway )with the first 2 and then horrible strong ones with some of the others from as early as 15-16 weeks but it didn't seem to make a difference to when they were born 
In fact with my youngest who was born at 33 weeks I probably had less BH's and they started later The worst were with my 3rd and she was only 10 days early xx
