1st Labour 8hrs from first contraction to giving birth
2hrs of pushing ( 1hr of on off pushing and 1 hr of serious pushing) and had an episiotomy (and threat of forceps which was what gave me the strength to finally get him out )
2nd labour 23 minutes from having waters broken at 2 cms to giving birth
Pushed about 2-3 times baby shot out, no cuts no tears
Definately a lot quicker for me

My daughter 13 years ago 5 hour labour and she weighed over 9lb.
My son 17 hours labour and he was 7lb and back to back.
So for me my second was longer. _________________

Stories like that terrify me - my first labour was only 5 hours, and he was back to back! He gushed out in one giant push with waters and everything!
My next is meant to be a booked c-section at 39 weeks (son came at 38!) and I just know that if I go into natural labour earlier than planned this time they are never going to get their arses in gear to do a c-section in time - she's going to pop out! Be lucky if I get to hospital I reckon! Not that it really bothers me - I kind of prefer the idea to a c-sect anyway! x _________________

Obviously I don't know the answer to that, but my sisters subsequent births were all faster, SIL how ever hers was longer as he was back to back xx _________________

My 3rd was back to back and was longer than my second, but still only 4hrs start to finish
I did stall for a while at 6cm but the midwife was really good and had in me in some strange positions to turn her and once she turned she shot out so even with a back to back baby its not always a marathon labour
She was still quicker than my first and easier I'd say
Knowing what i know now I'd have done a lot of positioning before labour though
