There are quite a few women on here who had tubal reversals , the results are mixed , some women got pregnant, some didn't , some went on to IVF and had babies that way, some just gave up and never had a baby .
There is an outcomes post in this section somewhere .
It does seem like the women 35 and under have the best results after, but also how long you were sterilised and what method was used can make a difference too.
There are no guarantees with the reversal as even if they fix both of your tubes it doesn't mean they will work properly and do what they need to do as there can be interanl damage thats hard to see and there is the risk of ectopic pregnancy and of the tubes reblocking with scar tissue from the op .
If there are any fertility issues then IVF can be the better option , well it can be a good option anyway , as you're 37 then you might get enough eggs to freeze some and do more than one cycle for the same price as the reversal .
Its worth seeing a consultant who specialises in both and asking which would be the better choice for you , Good luck xx
