Is it possible to have flu without having a cough, runny nose, etc?
I started to feel really shivery all of a sudden last night then started getting a really sore head. Took some paracetamol which didn't seem to help for ages. Finally got to sleep at 2am then was woke up by the boys at 7am with a fever again but this time my legs were aching. I now feel my skin is really tender and tingly when I touch it. My mum said its flu but I have no cold symptoms _________________

When I had it, I started off feeling really cold, then quickly came down with the aches overnight, and a really bad sore throat, to the point I could only drink as was too sore to eat. Then got a cough and bad chest that lasted weeks after the flu symptoms had cleared up. _________________

Yeah definitely. People that say they have the flu all the time don't realise what flu actually is. You usually just feel awful and are confined to bed, with fever. Sometime some cold symptoms come on later, but it is definitely nothing like just having a bad cold.
