Post subject: how long after having baby did you have ur first proper AF?? i cant remeber what happened with my first so just tryin to get some info so i can be prepared this time
I know my post baby bleeding stopped at the beginning of this month so thats out the way. Thanks _________________

Post subject: I bled for 4 weeks then had first AF at 12 weeks, had a chemical pregnancy at 16weeks, and fell pregnant (and happily expecting a little girl now) when he was 5m old. The two AFs I did have were regular to the day, and all that was despite breastfeeding my son until he was 9.5m.

Post subject: It great isnt it i just wanna keep an eye out as we had s e x when lil one was bout 3 weeks n oh didnt "withdraw" lol.......i make sure e does nw!!......surely i wont b spendin the 3rd year running pregnant!!!!

Post subject: First baby (natural) I bled for three weeks, b/f for two and had AF at 7 weeks.
This time (section) I bled for 4 weeks did not b/f and had AF at 5 weeks. Does the coil not work for you? I also cannot take anything that hormonaly goes through my body as I bleed a lot and often, but have to have something as I suffer from hormone related migraines and anaemia if I don't, and as the coil is 'localised' to the area it works much better for me. There are contracptions out there to test your body temps to back up the withdrawal methods xx _________________

Post subject: I think it would be very unusual to get pregnant from sex 3 weeks after giving birth but not totally impossible , it would mean you'd have to ovulate between 3-4 weeks after having your baby , I know at least a couple of times after mine I had my first AF at about 6 weeks so if you do ovulate before that first period then I suppose conceiving around 3-4 weeks after a baby is possible
 
Might be worth a test Although if you were still bleeding off and on for a while after then its less likely as you'd be losing lining 
There's something called persona as well which is similar to the cbfm but for contraceptive purposes, all you do is pee on a stick in the morning and it tells you if you're "safe" based on your hormones ,if not then you just avoid sex or use condoms until it shows you have ovulated, you can buy non latex condoms from places like amazon , they are more expensive though
Some women use a cbfm for the same purpose and just avoid sex on the High and Peak days
