Valentines day

Post subject: I get what you are saying but I think it's a nice day to do something special together as since having dd we do tend to need an excuse to get of our proverbials and arrange a night out sans dd!

Post subject: Yup. My dh and I were saying it last night. We've been married for over 6 years now, we're pretty sure we love each other haha! My dh brings me flowers every now and again because he wants to, not because he has too. He said last night he rather does that, than being "told" he has to.
He did give me flowers yesterday, which was very sweet and I had a card for him, but that's it. Some years we just forget!  So, no we're not really into Valentines either. We're planning to go to the cinema this weekend and lunch, which we were anyway, but I guess if anyone asks, we could use Valentine's as an excuse.  Posted: Fri Feb 15, 2013 1:46 pm
Post subject: we don't celebrate it, our nickname for it is Hallmark day lol, but then our aniversary is 19th Feb so we try to make a special effort then
I agree it does MAKE some couples do something which is good for them _________________

Post subject: We used to use Valentine's as a day to celebrate being totether as we didnt have an anniversary.. We were best friends that kinda moved into something else
that was 10 years ago! But we broke up last year we split for a few months so we are now using when we got back together as an anniversary  yesterday was the first time we have done nothing for valentines x_________________
