Well, as the title says, do you trust the results from internet cheapies?

I had a BFP this morning from one (the only test I had in the house) - if it is a true BFP then it would be the best Birthday present ever! (my birthday is today)...... BUT I'm not sure because I am a week late for AF but other tests I've done during this last week have been BFNs???

Sorry for the delay in my response (went out for a birthday meal where I literally stuffed my face and had a hectic Monday at work)!!

I managed to get a Wilkinson's own brand 'early response' test (it was either that or fork out £15 for a CBdigi Shocked

Well, I did the test with FMU and it was a BFP!!! I'm sooo pleased BUT am hoping and praying and keeping everything crossed that this one will be a sticky bean!!!

I'm a little worried though - why did it not show until a whole week after my AF was due???!?!?!

That would make sense - but IO don't think it's true in my case as I tested for OV'ing using the fertility microscope and it was positive around about the 'correct' time.... AND after our 'fertile window' - I wasn't up for much BD for a while so if I did OV late then I wouldn't have caught it!

Curiouser and curiouser!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let this one be ok!!!!

I wouldn't worry that a faint test or late BFP means low HCG, just because the levels in urine aren't representative of the true levels in your body , some women have faint tests and very high levels when they have blood tests, one of the reversal ladies had loads of BFN's then a faint test one day and had bloods at the docs the next day and it came back in the 800's Shocked my DD just had bloods yesterday as she's newly pregnant and had pains and has had m/c's and her cb digi only said 2-3 at the weekend and her scan today said she's 6 weeks and 3 days and her blood results came back really high Question She didn't get a BFP until she was about a week late
A lot of women say the cheapies didn't give them possies when other brands did as well so maybe you would have got a BFP sooner with a different test ? xxx
