Post subject: Haha, he had been on vitamins the 1st time he had a bad one and came off them and next one was good. His underwear's not the problem. Does guinness help?
But yeah, oh crapola indeed. We being matter of fact about it. If it's not one of us it's the other...lol. _________________

Post subject: Aww I hope its not as bad as it seems right now , if there are just less of them but the ones that are there are healthy then it might not be too bad
 I know it doesn't seem like much of a consolation but my OH was told at the end of 2011 that he was probably only releasing sperm from one side due to a cyst but the doc seemed to think that although it was halving his overall sperm count  it wasn't a major problem as the ones he would have were all healthy 
Sometimes an illness can affect levels as well, as men tend to produce less sperm when recovering from an illness so any illnesses up to 90 days ago could have an effect on his latest sample xx Posted: Tue Feb 26, 2013 2:34 pm

Me and my DH joke as I conceived after many years conception occurred after he got back from Dublin where he consumed far too much Guinness. Post subject: Hey ladies. Thanks for all your replies. Having spoken to the secretary again today it appears it is only the count that's down. It's 11.2 and apparently they class anything over 15 as normal. On the plus side, motility is not a problem(so I'm guessing morphology won't be either, they can't swim forward if not properly formed can they?)
Pen, unless that one very determined way makes it's way in the next 8 months it will all be a moot point anyway 'cos that'll be 3 years and us looking at a referral for IVF. It will be what it will be. Teebs, I'm about to go read your rant rant rant post. Nat. yeah I read that about illnesses. He's not been ill but very tired so maybe he's been fighting something off. Banoffee, I'd get hubby on guiness if he'd drink it just in case...lol _________________

Post subject: Ha, ok. They say it's sub-optimal but not too bad. They said they can either refer for IVF now or increase my clomid to 100mg for 3 months then refer for IVF if that doesn't work.
We went with option 2. Gives me a chance to lose more weight. _________________
