Post subject: lo's poo gone like mushy peas :( my lil lo has suddenly started having real green nappies and they stink like mushy peas.....any ideas what it could be, he has also become v unsettled and gets very upset when he is nt in ur arms.....should i be concerned??

Post subject: how old? is your ticker correct he's just over 1? If So I'd hazard a guess on a tummy upset, make sure he gets lots and lots of water and if continue for more than 3 days take to drs. xxx

ahhh 3 months, I *think* if your breast feeding and they are not getting the full fat hind milk and only the bit from the front their poo can go green (try keeping at the same breast longer). Also babies do tend to have a whole rainbow of coloured poos. Also if your bf-ing what you eat can make their poo change colour. If you bottle feed it can be a sign of illness (such as tummy upset), too much iron, or just sometimes some formula's just make it go green. Does that help hun? _________________
