Post subject: Baby outfits
My OH and I were starting to sort through Isobel's baby clothes today and got to talking about a coming home outfit. We don't know what we're having so we're intending to buy a special sleepsuit / romper suit for each gender (or a lovely neutral one). Does anyone have any recommendations? We don't mind paying a bit more for it than usual and we'd like it not to be Mothercare / Next etc. as we usually get sleepsuits from there. Thanks for your help!

The only thing I would say is that I got a lovely bear snow suit to take Frankie home in but she was so small that it didnt actually fit her til she was 7 weeks old and she ended up coming home in a normal sleepsuit and lots of blankets!

That was Next first size and she was 6lb 4oz so not super tiny!

Thank you for all your suggestions - Raspich, we had a similar issue with Izzy - we had lots of lovely newborn things and she was 10lb 6oz and long and didn't fit into them!

I will enjoy checking them all out!

I got a beautiful white sleep suit from mamas and papas that said "welcome to the world" on it for George to come home in, he looked gorgeous in it! X x
