Post subject: Hot tubs?!
Hi, sorry to keep asking questions, I heard somewhere, not to go into hot tubs whilst early in pregnancy as its too hot for the baby, and it's almost like ' boil in the sac' is this true? I'm due to go away with girls next week and they say to bring cossys, I will only be 8 weeks ish, any help/ advice would help xxxx Louise xxxx

As far as I'm aware its all rubbish I mean what about in the summer?
I always had hot baths whilst pregnant but I'm a wimp with hot water usually. My friend was the same.
Plus they tell you to run a hot bath when in labour :/
Perhaps ask your midwife? It would be a shame to miss out unecessarily xx

Avoid, like someone said jacuzzi, hot tub and sauna are all no no due to not being able to regulate temperature. They're also a breeding ground for bacteria x

I went on holiday at 30 weeks pregnant and there was a hot tub. We had a list of instructions and it said pregnant women could only go in for 10 minutes, and tbh I have had baths hotter then the water in it! lol.

Could you just 'forget' to take your swimming costume? that way you dont need to tell them your pregnant?
