Hi all,

I had an ice cream from an ice cream van this evening without thinking Sad and now im worried. I am 29 weeks pregnant and the only 1 I have had, surely one wont hurt???

It's not all ice cream, just ice cream like mcflurries, and mr whippy. Something to do with the cleanliness of the machine nd causing food poisoning etc. I know one isn't going to hurt but its worried me now Sad

I eat mcflurries and mr whippys at least 3 times a week. I wouldnt worry, midwives are so ott about what you can and cant have. I still eat mouldy cheese, rare steak, runny eggs - the lot! and this baby is fine. Try not to worry too much xx

Eating out anywhere is risking food pregnant whether pregnant or not so I wouldn't worry too much about it. I've never heard anything about icecream being a cause for concern anyway.

i would not worry. anyway when the go on about runny eggs!! i have been eating runny eggs for 30 years and have never had a bad one so i don't worry to much about things like that. Laughing

Thank you so much everyone. OMG I could murder a runny egg, one of the first things I'm having when my little boy is born, it's what I missed with my 1st baby too Laughing xxx
