Post subject: 30th birthday
I am turning 30 this year and keen to make it a special one as we don't often get out much now that we have the kids. My hubby is on board with this so I am looking for som eexciting ideas. I want to do something sociable with close friends however I am not wanting to spend loads of money. Not keen on a party though (dont think I know enough ppl for that!!) The more different, the better! So far I have thought about somethiong involvin cocktails or hiring a lodge with friends for wknd. Any ideas?

I am in a similar situation and thought a meal would be good but get guests to bring a course / dish / bottle of wine etc.
depends on birthday month, I am in the Winter otherwise would be thinking of bbq on the beach.
Happy 30th for your big day

Personally I like to go touring around a lot of different places in the world, so maybe you can pick some place that you have never gone and would like to visit. Then the rest is history! Happy early 30th BTW!
