At what gestation is it safe to start taking it? I just want to soften my cervix so when I do go into labour its nice a quick. I took it with my daughter but cant for the life of me remember when I started taking it! Laughing xx

Sorry I don't know anything about EPO, and hadn't even considered taking it. Is it recommended by midwives? I should have thought to ask her today xx

I'd go with 37 weeks as you're then considered full term Question As you want a home birth I wouldn't use it before then just in case xx

I took 2 orally and 2 as a pessary. And went 1 week overdue. My midwife told me it take the equivalent of 64 ejactulations at once to produce enough hormones to dilate the cervix. And it takes like 3 of those pills to equal one ejaculation!
