Post subject: Hormones! Gender differences?
Hormones are raging today.

Had he water works already because oh didn't answer a question right!

Lol I know I'm being unreasonable but can't stop being a cow!

I cry at anything. I don't remember being this bad with Harry!

Got a feeling this is a girl I'm carrying as pregnancy is so different.

Have any of you experienced different pregnancy symptoms and they sex was different or is that old chestnut just an old wives tale?

When I was pregnant with my daughter I was like a raging loonatic also up and down like a yo yo. When I was pregnant with my son I was quite chilled out nothing seemed to bother me. Not sure if it was because I was young when pregnant with my daughter and much older with my son.

I was so much more hormonal this time than with the boys!! And my symptoms were so different too.. The main old wives tale that rang true for me was that a girl steals your beauty.. I had terrible skin and hair.. My face was spotty greasy and my skin looked grey...

Old wives tales for me , I had all the same bad skin, spottiness, greasy hair , looking like death with all of mine boys or girls Rolling Eyes , even the morning sickness one i'm torn on because although I had no nausea or sickness at all with two of my boys and and I had some with 3 of my girls (not bad though) I also had severe sickness, dizzy spells and fainting with 2 pregnancies and one was a boy and the other a girl Rolling Eyes Question so no real pattern there Question
Same with bump shapes and sizes , cravings, hormones etc. I had the same cravings with all of them with just one added new one for the last 2 (boy/girl) same hormone swings and assorted bump sizes that had no relation to the sex Laughing
I think you can just get different things happen with different pregnancies and if one is a boy and the other a girl maybe people just presume the difference is down to the sex when really its coincidence ? I know my sister had all boys (7 of them) and had different symptoms with all of them Question xx

im kinda hoping this is true coz with my other 2 pregnancies i had morning sickness (in the morning) everyday for 4 weeks tiredness for 4 weeks and general moody for 4 weeks both boobs sore the whole time

this time (my third succesful pregnancy at this time) morning sickness every now and then(sometimes 4 days apart but feels sick if im up to early) sometime during the whole day ,tiredness ,server nightmares and really bad back-ach and tender nipple's Laughing

i have been pregnant 5 times lost 2 (the 2 i lost had no symptoms at all apart from one sore boob) Crying or Very sad

so am kinda hoping this little bundle of surprise is a boy Very Happy

mind you in saying that my sister has 7 children and is pregnant with her 8th child and she said all her symptoms were different (7 girls ,1 boy ) Surprised

I was sick as anything with my son the whole way through the pregnancy, dizzy, tired beyond function (could barely get out of bed the first 16 weeks through tiredness and I think I recorded something pathetic like 13 separate days when I didn't wake up and throw up for the whole pregnancy - even the day I had him I was sick in the morning because I got up too quick). That said - I was very chilled out and happy etc...

This time- full of energy, running on adrenaline, constantly on the go with my little boy who was just 5m when I fell pregnant again, and no sickness or tiredness at all - however - anyone so much as says 'boo' to me and I either burst into tears or bite their heads off. I'm such a horrible, hormonal wreck! (thankfully with everyone EXCEPT my son - my OH jokes that our boy is immune to my wrath because he's too cute)

I definitely buy into the wives tale that girls make us more hormonal and emotional.
