Is it jus me but I hate school holidays!! Playgroup is not on, no nursery and have to entertain the kids in places that are full to the brim.......just havent got the patience at the min.
Its hard to go the zoo, park etc when they are chocca as archie doesnt do well in huge crowds (has autism) so can freak a bit and I hate people looking at us!!

Urrrgghhh going visiting today......at least its out xx

I know what you mean, I can get a bit like that...cabin fever

When the weathers good its not so bad, we've just done a picnic in the park today but yer soft play etc bump the prices up and are usually packed.

Do you have any other mummy friends that you could possibly get together with for coffee amd let the kids play?

I am the opposite. I'm a teacher and love my school holidays. I am away on my own with the kids in the lakes and the weather today is [*@!#%*]. The complex has a swimming pool but its very stressing with 4 smallish children. Plus they all want different things all at the same time. I have a box of wine to keep me company in the evenings. I feel like I'm wishing my holidays away. I'll be glad to get home.

Hey Jennifer ...did you survive?!

We just about made it through. I'm the same as you, I find the holidays hard work. The ages of my kids makes it difficult to keep them both happy when we're out, so I find it all very stressful, and am very glad when we get back home.

Tonight I actually enjoyed getting together the lunches, uniforms and bags for school, nursery and work tomorrow morning. Laughing

I hated the holidays this time around. My roof is falling off and they only came out at the end of the week to fix it so I couldn't even let the kids play outside. Also the weather was poo but obviously the sun is cracking the pavements this week.. pfft.
